Radeon 9550 and 9600 were released on Oct 1st, 2003 Radeon 9550 is slightly faster in some games. (Half Life) Maybe Sapphire used more expensive VRAM modules with better CAS Latency or something like this? I had 10-15 samples for every game. Note: MSI Afterburner can't detect core/memory clock on some old GPUs so it's not 0 MHz for 9550/9600

wow. the 9550 was the first gpu i ever bought. i plopped it into a dell dimension 4400 with a 1.6ghz p4. i never knew it was so capable. i guess it was the p4 and the 256 megs of ram holding me back.

The 9600 is just a higher clocked 9550.
