I just got one. Really happy to know that its not a trouble maker. Actually i face a lot of mealy bug issue, have tried neem oil with liquid soap solution, but they keep coming back after 2 days and killed all my broken heart plants, money plants and even a parlor palm. I was so disheartened that i stopped buying plants since many months now. Today couldnt resist this plant, got a 2 ft tall one. Hope i can keep it growing and beautiful. Do let me know if there is a better way to keep mealies away

Hey, There are so many pesticides available on amazon, Or You can also try Rubbing Alcohol: Dilute rubbing alcohol with water (1:1 ratio) and spray it onto affected areas. The alcohol will kill mealybugs on contact. Avoid using alcohol on sensitive plants or during hot weather as it may cause leaf burn.

I also have two 4-4.5 feet China doll plant just wanted to ask if the leaves are going to be straight or are they a little downward facing. No yellow leaves or problems as of such.

Hey! It's normal for the leaves of the China Doll plant to have a somewhat downward-facing orientation, contributing to the graceful and elegant appearance of the plant. As long as your China Doll plant is maintaining its green color, has no yellowing leaves, and is otherwise healthy, the slightly drooping nature of the leaves is likely a natural characteristic of the plant.

Hey,To help your China doll plant, ensure it's properly watered (not too much or too little), gets bright indirect light, maintains high humidity, and stays in consistent temperatures (65-75°F). Check for pests and fertilize during the growing season.

Hey, Your China doll plant might be experiencing some stress. Dropping leaves can be caused insufficient light, Please shift it to brighter place near window or atleast 1000- 2500 lUX.

Hey, Both overwatering and underwatering can cause stress to the plant, leading to leaf drop. Check the soil moisture level by sticking your finger about an inch into the soil. If it feels dry, it's time to water, but if it's still moist, hold off on watering.

hell sir, i bought one 3 fit height china doll from nursery.but the very next day it started yelloing leaf and falling.now from lower portion its almost gone.i removed the branches in which there is no leaf.what to do now? soil is well drained.i have not even repoted.its benn 7-8 days since i bought from nursery

Hey! Leaves yellowing and falling is due to over watering please make sure that you do watering when the top layer of soil dries. New foliage will grow back soon, As you already removed branches.

Hey! To shape the china doll plant, clip taller woody stems back to about 1/2 inch. Pruning inward-growing leaves will make it bushier, and pruning outward-growing leaves will make it wider. So you can prune plant accordingly.
