Duff….make sure you never leave any anti-freeze laying around to where a dog or cat can drink it as it will kill them grave yard dead…they like it because it is sweet. We lost a cat because of my negligence several years ago.

LOT ( Little of this, Little of that) or Rusty Mix Or (Captain Patina) or RustiCan or Rustzzle(rusty puzzle) Twisted Steel or Sir Rust or Bobbie Brown!! Those are few off the top of my head!!!! I love your work and your ideas. I'm just an RC model builder, but I put the same love and effort into my models as you do. I'm also very connected to the rat rod scene and live it out in model building, unfortunately, but not in real life Size also in real rat rods because I don't have the money and the space. In addition, the Tüv wouldn't play along here anyway. Thorough repair!..We have some similiar stuff called J.B.Weld. I've never had much luck with it, but many people swear by it for metal repair. I used in on a hole in a transmission coolant line, and it blew it right off after several hours of running. Hope yours holds!

We call those nuts "Acorn Nuts". How about naming it "Rusty"? You could call it "Rus" for short.

I love the way the truck turned out . Tetanus shot would be a cool name for it. My only input would be that new battery looks way out of place .. maybe a cool cover over it to blend it in .. but great job .

I was confident the epoxy would work ! Great to see this come together after following along . I think you will definitely want some type of "muffler" as we call it. With your forest engineering , I am wondering if you might design and build your own ? Something unique for a 4 cylinder . Great to see the Perkins diesel. Here in the states those are in tractors and combines (or at least a version of that engine) Will be waiting for the road test !

In New Zealand we can buy a product called one shot which is a powder like brass fillings and it works every time and stays circulating in the system and if you get another little hole BAM it stops that leak to - this product is amazing

Hey Div. It doesn't take much to get a hole in the newer Rads of today. I don't like dumping shit onto my Rad, motor, or Tranny. The way that I look at it, is if it will plug up on a hole, what is it doing to any screens or small openings. Good fix. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍

Bars Radiator repair. It used to be in a can about the size of a spice can. There was also stuff that you could buy at the drug store. It was called water glass. It also worked and fixed radiator leaks.

When I looked at the truck the first name that popped into my head was...Moe.

The look on the face when it ran is priceless...a feeling I know all to well. I have never tried the quickset epoxy on a radiator before (nice to know). Put 51 in a place to be seen easily...yea. 51 sounds good to me and you could age it in appearance. Easy for you to make and just a simply name quickly made.

The only thing I would have done different is smashing (jb weld) into the hole before pinching the tube shut. Being in the Auto Recycling business I have seen so many Radiator repairs that just don't work. Normally anything applied to the outside get blown off when the cooling system pressurizes

Hello Diff great build, I love your creativity and the way you get things done. I have a suggestion for your truck name. I would call your truck Inferno due to it's fiery past. I look forward to seeing more.

once i fixed an aluminum cored radiator by cutting out about one inch (25 mm) of reed , flaring each end open slightly , cleaning inside (briefly) w/muriatic acid , rinsed and dried completely , injected a liquid epoxy , then folded/crimped each end w/needle nose pliers . local radiator shop had told me they couldn't repair aluminum , but this worked . btw , knew a guy w/a sedan delivery with nearly the same grille as your truck . he bought a second bottom grille bar , flipped it and fastened to already existing bottom bar . made a nice completion of the grille . i seem to remember that he even welded a flat piece of steel , at an angle , to the added bar , for a chin spoiler . painted it all w/black crinkle paint , looked good on his orange car .

How about “Aftruck!” That way you can add emphasis to the way you pronounce it depending on situations. And it speaks to the unique rear end and original home.

We used to use Carnation Cream a condensed cream and ginger to stop leaks in a radiator.. Did you ever see a condensed cream can knit a hole over after you punch a slit in the top of the can? it will do it..I've used it a few times.. Enjoy your videos..Paul in Ohio..

With a leak that small pinch it off like you did and then put a shot glass full of pepper down the radiator and go.. you would be supprised how fast it stops. Have a 95 jeep with an aluminum radiator and it's had pepper in it for two years. It dosen't loose a drop.
