@@marcothephoenix3706 ah yes, Primal Armor. Though I don’t think it’s just special attacks, I think it’s all super effective damage which explains why Melmetals superpower did so little.

This dude is utter hell even on Normal. Guess what, he still uses his Dialga there... Also I love Glimmora as much as the next guy but Lance having it here is incredibly out of left field.

That’s crazy primal Dialga is still on normal mode. Glimmora setting up hazzards, combined with Dialga’s roar of time and Lance’s field effect is an insane combination. Glimmora is definitely a cool Pokémon with a great unique ability though!

Are you playing on restricted mode? The last time I played this game, double iron bash was banned for me.

Im playing on Hardcore mode, which restricts a lot of moves including set-up moves and stat boosting moves like calm mind, swords dance etc. Double Iron Bash was learned by Melmetal naturally via level up even in hardcore mode, so I’m not sure why it was banned for you. Unless there’s a mode that restricts even more moves than hardcore mode does? Maybe you were playing on an older version of the game? With that being said, double iron bash is an insane move especially on Melmetal with iron fist and STAB. Definitely ban worthy.

@@sophiashelton2852 yeah, there’s been many updates since v2.3, I’m playing on version 4.0 which is the newest. That may be the reason double iron bash is no longer banned.

the first run through, i found lorelei the hardest elite 4. But in subsequent runs, I found lance the hardest. His melmetal is pretty good at stopping sweeps and his primal dialga is super tough to deal with assuming you don't cheese it with powder ribombee. This is talking about normal mode of course.

Lorelei was pretty hard, and being the only double battle adds another layer of complexity that the other E4 battles don’t have. It’s all matchup dependent and it’s interesting to hear from other people who they found the most difficult based on their elite four teams. I think the consensus of Lance being the strongest by far is a bit of nostalgia, though it may very well be that most teams just don’t fare well against him.
