Pastor Tommy Bates may I ask you a few questions Sir? I have been raised for years on the Holy Bible as the real truth, and the way to find Jesus, GOD and heaven or eternal life! Yet strangely now I am running into Christian churches and Preachers I watch on TBN and Daystar TV that are preaching that you do not need to try to keep the 10 commandments anymore? And many are saying all kinds of crazy things to me like Jesus Christ is the devil? WHAT!?!! I had to point out the story of Jesus Temptation in the Holy Bible, where there was two men on the hill that day! One Jesus Christ, the other was the devil! Two men, not one proving Jesus is not the devil yo! He is a separate person! Next issue I keep running into is some folks pushing the Jewish doctrine and looking down on the Christian doctrine like we born again Christians will not make the rapture of the church, and that we are lost and going to hell? Unless we practice only a Jewish doctrine? As some jews don't even worship or accept Jesus Christ in their hearts? And some were making fun of him online, and trash talking! That made me feel very uncomfortable as I love my GOD Jesus Christ, and felt a strong conviction to defend him at all cost! But if salvation is from the jews, then why do they look down their nose at Christians as second class citizens in the Kingdom of GOD? If we are all the family of GOD together? Where is this attitude coming from? Why do some reject Jesus Christ GOD's only SON, and why do they not accept him in their hearts like Christians do? I read in the Holy Bible the book of Mathew and it says Jesus warned the jews not to practice religious bigotry against the gentiles? He warned them not to do it, or risk hell? And it also said in that book of Mathew that we are both.... jews and gentiles covered by the same Abrahamic covenant with GOD?!! And we have both been given the same 10 commandments to live by! The jews were given the two stone tablets from GOD himself, given to Moses in the old testament! And the Christians were also given the same 10 commandments to live by in the new testament? If we were both given the same law 10 commandments from GOD to live by, and base our lifestyle on? Then why do the jews feel they are superior and can do anything they wish, living any dang way they want to without following the 10 commandments or law? And not accept Jesus Christ in their heart, like the Holy Bible says is the only way to GOD the Father Creator and heaven when you die? As the arc is housed in GOD's temple or tent as a Holy relic in the jewish faith? How do they feel they are saved and going to heaven when they die, if they don't accept Jesus Christ in their hearts like the Holy Bible says you must to be saved or born again? As Jesus whole ministry was to believe in him, follow him, and later to accept him in your heart as he was the ultimate sacrifice on the cross? If the Holy Bible tells us that we need to be born again or saved to go to heaven and be with our creator GOD, Jesus Christ his only SON and Holy Ghost and family of GOD when we die? Why don't the jews also do this? As the Holy Bible is very clear about a man not being allowed to determine his own outcome, as its GOD's heaven and in his hands! We must choose to accept or reject his only SON Jesus Christ's free gift of mercy on the cross? So why do the jews feel they have an automatic get into heaven for free card, without accepting Jesus Christ in their hearts like the Holy Bible says to do? If we are the same family of GOD and go to the same heaven when we all die? Why are the two faiths in GOD so different? And what is the true faith Jesus Christ and GOD want all of us to follow? I enjoy being and living the Christian lifestyle! And enjoy all the sermons from various Christian churches I enjoy watching all the time on TBN.com and DaystarTV.com! As I do feel we are all worshiping the same GOD, and going to the same heaven when we die? So why the difference in belief? And do the jews even accept the new testament or Holy Bible? As the Holy Bible confirms that GOD accepts both jews and gentiles? Why do some folks think born again Christians or gentiles are less loved by GOD, or not going to heaven when they die? It was the jews that had him crucified, not his disciples or followers? Can you please help clarify some of this for me? Or do a sermon on this topic? As I want to know for sure, I am believing the true faith of Jesus Christ SON of GOD, Father GOD creator of all, Holy Ghost, The three in one GOD head! As when you accept Jesus you get all three! And we Christians get baptized to seal our faith in GOD, and give us the Holy Spirit! Do the jews get baptized? And if not why? Please help me understand all this more clearly? I want to be able to tell my friends etc. that I am worshipping the true Savior and GOD of the Holy Bible, and that when they die they can go to heaven and have peace with GOD! I don't want to be misguiding anyone! I always thought the jews were super holy and knew all about the Holy Bible, being experts at it! Then I encountered a few who were mocking Jesus Christ GOD's only SON? And were publicly refusing to accept him as GOD's only SON? And kept debating with me online, how he was a fake etc. and denouncing him as Lord!!! Yikes! This broke my heart! And really threw me for a loop! I was so shocked, and horrified at the same time and insulted! I remember going to bat for Jesus Christ and defending him with the Holy Bible scriptures anyway! Then I was told by someone, jews only accept the old testament scriptures? I guess that is their Torah or something unsure? As the jewish faith has always been some kind of mystery to me? I have put all my trust in the Holy Bible and Christian church since I was a small child! Raised most of my whole life on the belief in the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ, GOD and Holy Spirit! And accepting Jesus in my heart to be born again to be really saved! So this all came as a great shock to me, I am sure you understand what I am saying here? Please Pastor help clarify all this for me? I want to know for sure, I am headed through the narrow gate like the Holy Bible says! To pick up your cross and follow Jesus Christ daily! I continue to witness to others and put my trust in Jesus Christ and GOD! I guess I just want a better understanding to all this? Please help me understand! Many thanks! I would like to know who ever came up with playing that organ while the preachers preaching but in Jesus Name STOP!!!!! YOU DONT NEED TO HELP HIM HES QUITE CAPABLE TO PREACH WTH THE HOLY GHOST AND POWER WITHOUT THE ORGAN
