Fun fact The sound hear at 4:25 is still used fo transter any NHK sister channels to a coverage from NHK General. The sound is still in use, mostly for emergency earthquake coverage, but it sounds like there's less reverb than back then.

the fact the malayan guy says "and this is our last news" in the middle of the broadcast makes me think he just got handed a note saying "we're being invaded by the japanese" or something
as a italian in "final france broad cast" i can listen this italian word "o vecchio?" "we"(it doesn't mean people but it's a pejorative to call someone) and o vecchio (oh old man) is a pejorative another way to call someone
