I was at this race! This storm was INTENSE! And we were all on the second story deck when this thing came through! Can't even describe the intensity of the wind and rain! Nowhere to go either!

For future reference, go to the first level and stay beneath where the second story is because the rain doesn't come through there. But if you are on the second story or under the grandstand seats on the first level you get soaked.

Clint Bower wasn't lying on how hot it was there before the rain delay. You could barely breathe out there. Thankfully after the storm the temps stayed around 73 degrees and was completely beautiful under the lights

Because the schedule and the package don't quite line up. This package is at its best on plate tracks, high banked short tracks like Bristol, and 1.5 mile tracks at night. The issue is we still have tracks like Pocono, Michigan, and the road courses on the calendar and this package sucks at those places. That said the 1.5 mile tracks have never been so much fun to watch and that alone has made me watch a hell of a lot more this year.

This package is artificial racing. Fans are asking for the opposite and that's why all the negativity won't go away until they *actually* listen to it's fans.

@@runrafarunthebestintheworld All racing is artificial. It doesn't occur naturally. Or, if you want to go the other way, all racing is the natural result of whatever rules package they race under. There is no way to slice it where the current on track product is somehow fake while whatever fantasy version people dream up is not. It's all either artificial or it's all a natural result of whatever rules package is in play at the time. There is no middle ground in this situation.

@@asht9ntrive28e8 You said you zoomed it, which crops the video. No different than zooming a Blu-ray or DVD on your TV. I know it can be annoying, but it's best to watch something in its native resolution. Although for a 5 minute RU-vid clip it's no biggie. ✌️

@@MuddyPuttersDG he was referring to NASCAR not Goodyear because there was a piece of debris in turns 3 & 4 that he ran over 3 laps in a row. But you think a professional driver would know not to run over the same debris after doing it once already...

No such thing as a purely American car, anymore. Or purely any kind of car. All cars manufactured everywhere incorporate parts and pieces manufactured all over the world. Chevrolet is an American company, but none of their vehicles are made of purely American parts. This has been the fact of the matter for years.
