It's a good thing no driver was fined or punished in that. The pit guys were the ones throwing punches, not the drivers. I will say this though. There was a space, not much of one, but enough to fit a car in it. Gordon never expected Brad to do that and it cost Jeff a chance to lock into Miami. Probably a big reason for why he was mad. And then Harvick did a good move to let Brad get a beating. Let's be honest, Brad has been asking for it all year long.

That was Clints fault for this. He obviously wrecked on purpose and he has done that 3 times when Jeff Gordon was winning. If Clint didn't decide to be stupid and wreck when Jeff was winning then this wouldn't have happened.
Gordon pushed down on Kes' car. Ended up slashing a tire because of it. It's no ones fault but Gordon's. If he can't act like a man and admit that he was at fault, he shouldn't be in NASCAR. Thank god he left. I hate him almost as much as Danica.

As much as I completely understand Jeff's anger in the heat of the moment. I don't really think Brad did anything wrong here. And I think Jeff probably feels the same way, since he admitted as much when being interviewed on Harvick's radio show recently.
Another thing, why did harvick jump in on a fight that had nothing to do with him? All I saw was Gordon being pissed at keselowski, he goes over to his pit, jumps him, then harvick gets in on jt, and hell breaks loose. Wtf?

Why do drivers get mad when they can't get around another driver? Isn't the point not to let anyone by you? Drivers are always like, "Pick a lane" or "get out of the way". I don't know anything about NASCAR, so if someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it.
That is usually said when a car that is one or more laps down is getting in the way not when two cars on the same lap are racing for position. There is no point holding someone up who is laps ahead of you, it counts for nothing.
Nearly 6 years later, let’s be honest about this... the contact was Gordon’s fault. Keselowski shot the gap and was there when Gordon drove into the side of him🤷🏼♂️
In my opinion, they need to get the crew members and officials to piss off. They should just let them fight it out; I mean, isn't that how NASCAR came up on the map, in the first televised Daytona 500?
I just hate how the last 2 weeks in both cases Gordons teamates didn't give him a little more of an edge knowing he needs a win to move on. If my teamate needed a win especially if it was gordon who may not get a chance to win a. Championship I'd be alittle slow on the restart and tell him privately you owe me one later

Ben Schubert When it is a sport that revolves around being competitive, it is easy to get worked up. People see this who aren't apart of crew and just call them retarded, but when you are apart of the conflict is is easy for this to happen.
Because Jeff was well on his way to winning that race(and securing a spot towards fighting for the championship in Homestead) until Brad slammed into him on the restart, and cut down his tire. Jeff went to confront Brad after the race, and the fight broke out.
That last caution was bs Clint kept going so they should not have thrown thanks to NASCAR wanting to be enertainment Gordon didn't get a5th championship

Don't like Brad, but what he did here was just good old racing for the win. Gordon left a hole open and Brad went for it (Brad won Chicago by making a move like that so it's not farfetched to think it wouldn't have worked).

Meaning......Nascar is NOT an accurate representation of international motorsport. It's the equivalent of wrestling on wheels with a slightly (just) less determined outcome. How many different series are you familiar with? The amount of macho fist fights that occur in something such as Nascar in one year is probably 30 fold more than the majority of other racing series combined. Though, the more skilled your motorsport discipline, generally, the better the quality of human being. Flying around in a circle in a brick on wheels is a pretty common denominator. I'm now realising, you're probably not much older than 16-18 years of age. I feel quite silly about having argued with a teenage girl. Go ahead and go back to playing with your cell phone and leave the thinking to the adults. By the time you really need to worry about taking care of yourself, you will only be required to get out of bed in the morning in order to keep receiving those government benefits.
