Probably the most complex, emotionally genuine band of all time.. They pour their soul and talent into literally every moment of every song. I'm not even an entirely massive fan of these guys but you can just tell by every one of their songs. Plain and simple these men are genius
Watching Colin jumping up and down in anticipation is just so awesome. If anyone out there has the bootleg of Radiohead where they are doing surgery on the cover...yeah, it was a while ago, like 1999. You're a very fortunate person. Whatever concert they did on that was like 9 mins long and Johnny just went all out on the solo. It was stolen from me but the notes still linger on somewhere in the back of my mind. I love Radiohead forever. Thom, if you read this it was great getting to know you back in the day.
Radiohead nothing to envy bands like Queen, Pink Floyd. This creation is unique, great, unbeatable, it is on the OK Computer album, which is among the 20 best albums in history.
I can identify with Colin at 4:40. I remember the first time I saw this performance I was singing just like him, with all that passion... Without a doubt Radiohead is the best band of our generation.
i listen to this song everyday and it never gets old. such a rollercoaster of sounds and emotions. i think this is the kind of song that people will look back and analyse 30 years from now like say bohemian rhapsody
Can't believe this is still on youtube.. it's been 15 years - I remember watching this video around the time when youtube started getting bigger. Please never be deleted.
On point as always. Unbelievable live version 🎸🎸🎸💖. The 3 guitar assault at its,um, most beautiful. I love Ed, taking a break during the rain down section
they have become so much more polished in their live performances. I like this video because they seem much more raw on stage then... seems like they are playing live for the first time. @ 1:48 Ed is like "wtf?"
I don't know what to say about Thom's way of moving... I wouldn't say I dislike it because it catches my attention a lot.... I think that's the best aspect of his dancing patterns: they're so peculiar that you enjoy seeing him. Amazing, I love this song!
a friend of mine recomended me this song 9 years ago and said it was trash. I was young and very close minded back then. Now I can really appreciate it, I'd say is a solid song.
Pense que mi vida no tenia sentido....Hasta que escuche a esta MEGA BANDA y con esta presentacion??? solo puedo decir que paranoid android es una HYPER obra maestra musical RADIOHEAD ROCKS!!!!!!!!
this is excelent! combination of voices, colorful sounds, beautiful effects, melancholic, powerfull and bizzare at the same time. this is poetry .... i can feel the voices in my head... feel the voices in your head.... this is the evolution of rock .... the pink floyd of the 90 ....
This song has everything you need to be one of the best songs of all time. It has hatred, love, aggressiveness, softness. A masterpiece of Mr. Thom Yorke and company. Radiohead forever in everyone's head !!!
I simply can't understand how mankind could create such a masterwork, so beautiful, so perfect. The breakdown in this song is too amazing for words. Radiohead are genuises, 'nuff said.
see how Ed and Collin got excited with Tom's singing? well I'm just saying that when you get your audience to freak out you're an awesome singer but when you get your own band mates to get crazy then you're fucking god
Both Citizen Erased and Paranoid Android are signature songs of those bands, they're both epic. But I still don't know why those two bands are compared all the time...
God, I didn't know they sounded so good playing live. This really cheers me up. I'm going to complete and practice my little "arrangement" for one guitar.
These guys are incredible live....to do a song like this and do it to the tee....awesome!! I also love the live version of there there at the bbc!!! Killer!!!
That is the most fucking incredible performance I have ever seen. It was intensity and authenticity from the get go. A true testament to the insanity we live in now.
You see Thom and Colin's feet shuffling in unison at 1:30. I don't really know why, but That is just so awesome in my opinion. This whole performance blows my mind.
i will never tire of this band. seen them live twice [bragger alert!!!] and really want to see them again. ok computer is the greatest album of all time...
It's called a Cabasa, or an Afuche. It has a series of ball bearings aligned on a string that's tightly secured on this bumpy metal surface. And when you move the ball bearings across the abrasive metal plating -- like Ed, the guitarist is doing -- it makes this scratchy sound, kinda like sandpaper or something.
Excellent version!!! This is simply brilliant. In answer to wungabunga, I think that all you can do with a piece of art is to interpret it. If a person gets deppressed it would not be because of a song, etc., but rather because of his/her background and psychologic issues.
I use to be depressed, for the past few years. Those teen hormones. I use to listen to depressing music. I found that it kinda cheered me up. Your right about the part where depressed, you cover it up with a smile. My friends didn't i was depressed for so many years until i told them recently lol. Anyway, I love radiohead, discovered them in march when i stopped getting naturally depressed...
