Nice job. I really struggle with the bass drum part in this song. It seems so simple but my foot always rushes it too fast, I can't keep it in tempo. Any tips?

Hi there, thanks for your comment :) It is a pretty challenging pattern! I would suggest some independence exercises focussing on the right foot and right-hand relationship. Ted Reed Syncopation: egorshvets.nethouse.ru/static/doc/0000/0000/0063/63844.kpvp3nh6v2.pdf Page 11 & 12 - hand plays bottom line (on ride cymbal) foot plays top line (bass/kick drum). Move on to do the whole of the 48 bar exercise on page 33 of the pdf (32 on the book) Hope that helps :)
