if you upgrade to the factory team fox shocks the suspension just works incredible ! when the a arms break the rpm ones work the best . jconcepts magmas 1/8 buggy tires work really good on it . raw500 or perfect pass monster servo is a must . need to run 3s and make a cover over the steering . i used a 2mm piece of carbon on mine to keep stuff from binding up the steering

I got two of these for my kids when it came out a couple years ago. I was so impressed at how well it drove and jumped right out of the box. This is a shockingly good platform at such a low price. Receiver in one went bad but the radio system isn't great to begin with. Otherwise no issues on 2S. I finally let my kids run 3S in them for the first time last month; broke a front A arm pretty quickly LOL. Got RPM arms on them now. Motor is a concern now as well as it gets very hot. So glad I got these instead of a 4x4 Slash or Senton.

Heat is a major issue with everything right now. I haven't done 3s on it iyet

Lovely run there Joe, nice! Worth keeping an eye out for the motor mount screws, they're know to come loose sometimes. Now for 3s please lol

I love my Pro4. Crazy the only reason I bought it was because I broke my 8th scale racing truggy at the track but I still wanted to drive. So bought the pro4 off the shelf and have loved it. And loved the air on that first jump

@@ExocagedRC Watching your newest vid now lol Love the dirt pile landing, solved the widening problem hehe Id make it a bit taller and extend out a bit so you have more landing area on a down slope, your RC's will thank you 😂 The XRT is is insane, love the new Team Associated as well, it flies nicely, balanced very well 👍🏻✌🏻

I got the rival mt 10 monster truck and chassis is similar, ya need to throw a 3s lipo in it and watch it turn into an absolute monster!

Check your steering throw with the gyro on and with it off. My radiolink gyro kills the steering on anything over about 30%. With it turned all the way down i have full steering.

yeah I love the rc8x but the gt5 has better gyro control. So I switched it out.

Nice video, I have an RC8X myself but i was having issues with the receiver signal on the RC8X where it would lose range not far away from it. Is there a fix or an update i didn't do to make my radio lose range? Please let me know.

Make sure the receiver antennas are not grounded on any metal and are up above a bundle of wires, whenever I have distance issues thats usually the cause.
