Thank you for your excellent reviews ali👍🏽I have a tx12 that I got with my novice 4 bundle but unfortunately lost the quad because of a bad vtx antenna 😢 so now I have a great radio but am limited to what I can fly so I was looking at the zorro and couldn't decide on which model but I fly planes as well as quadcopters so I think I am getting the 4in1 now👍🏽I purchased the tyro79s after seeing your review and flying it and it's an awesome quad 😁 I see they have a few different packages for the zorro I wish they would've put together the 4in1 with the tbs module or elrs that way you would be able to fly just about everything lol but only the cc2500 comes with the tbs module thanks again for another great review ✌🏽
Zorro is a superb radio. 4-1 is best choice. I have not switched to ELRS. i just do not find the need of it. more and more restrictions on long range flights around the world. I am happy to fly 2km to 5km with LR12 Frsky Protocol that is available in Zorro and TX16S. Thanks for your continued support my friend
@alishanmao thank you al I don't fly long range at all lol too scared 😁 but I do need penetration because I fly around alot of trees can you help me out with this question? Will frsky rxsr receivers work with the radiomaster tx12? I want to get the geprc cinelog 25 or 30 and the receiver options are tbs or frsky rxsr and I know that the radio does have frsky D8/D16 🤔 does rxsr use D16 protocol? I'm just so confused and can't get a straight answer when Googling lol I intend on going HD asap but for now I'm happy with analog and really don't want the headache of elrs just yet lol I'm not keen on flashing firmware and stuff I JUST WANT TO FLY!!!! 🤣 I would love your feedback man thanks alot✌🏽
@alishanmao OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!🙏🏽 I was going crazy trying to figure out if it would work lol thank you Ali for your time and helping me stay safe and keep bringing EXCELLENT CONTENT MAN👍🏽✌🏽
i have never tried those buddy. but in theory of course you can use them however they are not momentary, when you press them once, they switch, press again, switch. possibly that.
Hi Ali, I’m interested into buying the Zorro, would really love to try it with my M1 Heli 😂. You know you’re right, for guys like us the 4and1 will works best just get the ELRS module separately and will have the best of both worlds. I don’t even know what ELRS is 😂
Its basically mostly for Racing drones and FPV Planes who fly long range. specially FPV Racing drones who need more precision and more solid link. for people like us, 4 in 1 is what we need. I will probably never go ELRS except for review or just setup one or two racing drones, and a long range FPV Plane LOL yes Edgetx Zorro will work with OMP M1 but need to get external mini SBUS SFHSS or frsky rx. that will do just fine
@@alishanmao yes, I’m running both SFHSS mini rx on my M1 and M2. Zorro looks great, it would be a great flyer tx to take along the park with M1 and park flyer fix wings.
@@alishanmao hey have you seen the dji caddx fpv rc heli conversions from drone Camps rc lately? I think the Radio Control link could start to get a problem with fpv helis. What Do you think? Is it possible to hook up a 1s heli like xk k110s with elrs and fly it with the Zorro?
pretty poor performance regarding battery life using the elrs in 250 mW mode. They forgot about real use case and I do not like the spot they added the battery holder cause it does not fit really good and is a risk to damage more than it helps.
Hi Ali. Congrats for your Video. Currently I have Radiomaster Tx16s (4 in 1 version). I'm happy but I find it a little big and heavy. I'm considering to switch it to the Zorro. This radio offer the same freautures concerning the range and protocols compatibility as the TX16s? Thanks in advance and regards
@@oscarescales9689 I have used it with mini planes. it works very well but still If I were to buy a radio, I would prefer a full sized TX16S or Futaba Radios
@@alishanmao another questions: it's possible to transfer the Models memory from the TX16S to the Zorro? It's compatible the settings from OpenTx with Edge Tx ? Thanks
Dear Alishanmao, thank you very much for this video, it's very good. I want to buy a Radiomaster Zorro 4in1 and most of them are offered as FCC, but I need to have EU LBT. I've downloaded the latest firmwares for FCC and EU LBT directly from Radiomaster's homepage , but how can I flash different firmwares FCC or EU LBT or change from one firmware to another? The firmware folders from Radiomaster's homepage also contain a folder named SD card, do I have to flash that folder too and if so, what to flash first , firmware or SD card? And there's also multi-protocol, which obviously contains both FCC and EU LBT and even a LUA-folder. And there's also EdgeTX companion and an SD card update function. I'm completely confused now. If I understand it right, then EdgeTX is the operating system and is independent from FCC, EU LBT or multi-protocol. But what to flash in which order? Thank you very much and have a nice day. Best regards, Markus.
I have a Fly Wing FW450 v2 on order and are wondering if this Zorro would bind with it? Or maybe the RTF transmitter that comes supplied with said RC heli will be good enough anyway.
Hello. Alishanmao. How do I set up my Radiomaster Zorro elrs for the Flywing fw 200. I can't find anything online or on youtube. Hope you can help. Tim (Denmark
I tested it on a FPV Plane. it works very well. did not test it on Helis. To be honest, I am getting back to Futaba now. I am using OpenTx and TX16S only for making tutorials and or when I need to fly with some additional modules like ELRS or others, Rest Futaba is still the kind and amazing radio
'Wanting to get into FPV I have a few items I’ve already bought DJI goggles V2 heewing 1 my buddy at the flying field has a set up so I was trying to get exactly what he has the radio master zorro i’m confused which one to get he had somebody said all his stuff up so I’m not sure which radio he has could really use some help with the radio and the electronics thanks a lot for any help you could offer Steve
i would suggest TX16S Mark II or at least TX16S. Many people like Zorro but eventually get tired of this small radio soon. still if you want to go for it. well go for 4-1 if you have any questions feel free to write. join my supporters group here: www.buymeacoffee.com/alishanmao
First i was really entertained with that sb switch and the use of the middle finger. Haha . Im really interested with this rc. Im just confused both has a module bay at the back. So the elrs version is like a 4 in 1 but comes already with elrs? Like i can buy this and if i already have a quad with elrs then im good to go. While the 4 in 1 still needs a seperate purchase.
Hello. I think you chall have a good microfon and cameras from upper position and a bigger table when you rewived your Rc models. You are a professional rewiver.
Thanks for the tips! but i have a small room so can't a bigger table. we live in a small apartment. i try to make do with what i have. thank you for watching
Just follow the TX16S setup buddy. its the same thing. just that one or two options in zorro Edgetx are different names but rest is all same. you can even download OTX file and import models to your edgetx i believe. www.buymeacoffee.com/alishanmao/e/95021
@@alishanmao I did what you suggested, I finally got it to work. But there are some quirks. That thumb wheel is very sensitive and there are just minor differences. They do frustrate you a little bit but you just got to keep monkeying with it. Thanks for your suggestion it helped a whole lot. If we weren't in such terrible economic straights here in the US I would buy you a whole pot of coffee. I'll remember you in the future!
yes it does. can't do heli video with zorro. opentx and edgetx are almost same so you can watch my opentx video tutorial and setup your zorro. my helis are setup with TX16S and i do not think i want to change a radio right now as far as the setup is same
Bonjour la radio zorro penser vous qu’on pourais fair vole des azlrc x360 ou 505 devil avec la radio car tout le monde me dit quel est comme la tx 16s sur les stick c’est juste l’écran en noir et blanc qui change ?
Hello, yes you can. just make sure to use a good receiver that provides strong connection. rest the radio is doing very well for helicopter and plane flights.
thinking to setup my M1, M2 and Eachine E150 with this. Just setup eachine flying fish plane with zorro and i absolutely am very comfortable with the feel of this radio and control response. waiting for rain to stop so i can start testing it
you can if you have an external SFHSS or FrSky Sbus protocol receivers. in case your OMP M1 has a built in OMP Receiver, you will need to upgrade the firmware to add OMP protocol. now for the Opentx there is one special firmware that adds OMP Protocol to Radiomaster tx16s and other opentx radios but for EdgeTx we might need to wait till someone writes it. best way to use external mini receivers.
