Radio Shack (REALISTIC brand) built for RadioShack (Tandy Corp.) by GRE. Frequency coverage 25MHz to 520 MHz and 760 to 1300 MHz (export version, no 800MHz band gaps here!). Purchased at a local thrift store for $9.98 (plus tax and the cost of replacing the 9 volt battery that powers the memory chip to save the channel programming). Not a bad deal. Previous owner completed "cellular unblock" modification for full 25-520 and 760-1300 MHz coverage with no gaps. Includes FM broadcast, UHF-AM military aircraft band, VHF-AM civilian aircraft band, 54-76 MHz TV band, 76-88 MHz TV band (both of these are basically useless nowadays with digital TV though...). 5, 12.5 and 50 kHz channel steps AM/FM/WFM modes. Complete with AC power plug, removable telescopic antenna, BNC connector for external antenna, audio out (3.5mm 1/8" plug), tape audio out (phono or RCA plug), 13.8 volt DC power input for mobile use and -10db ATT switchable ON/OFF on the back panel. Great receive capability with solid selectivity and great sensitivity. Works equally as well (if not better than) my RadioShack PRO-96 (which was also made by GRE!). Built in Japan, great feel to the case and controls. Closely related to the famous PRO-2006 scanner.
