It's good but won't run on my Windows 10 bootcamp installation for some reason but does on other pc's

@@digitalmediafan It's a 64 bit software. If you are running windows 10, 32 bit version it won't work. Incase you are running windows 10, 64 bit version, then please make sure it's updated, including the latest version of .Net runtime application.

@@bharatshetty9560 yes I have 64 bit version. I have the latest runtimes as SDR console installs them so don't quite understand it

@@digitalmediafan try running the program with the command prompt. Do "cd path/to/sdrpp/folder/ sdr++.exe" (actual file path and executable name might be different). See what error the terminal prints out when you try to run it.

Fine! This is the best program, at least for me. I wish I could use this decoder on an android, because catching radiosondes is a field activity. SDR++ is a cross-platform program, I really hope that in the future the author will make his decoder also cross-platform!

In the radio section what modulation does it need to be on to pick up the signals.

I have the lates build of SDR++ but when I star SDR++ it gives me an entry poit erro for the Radio Sonde plugin. I don't seem to be able to find any other plugins.

And for the future: I would like more information on microwave radiosondes operating at frequencies of 1680 MHz

RS41 is Viasala (Finland) sonde - it can be scrambled (RS41SGM - Military). on 1680MHz - sondes dopnt do GPS. The use radio/azimuth/elevation by manualy tracking signal strenght. RS41D is the model. Also old RS92D used to fly there. I hope this helps

@@jiriculak6115 Thank you, but the probe at a frequency of 1680 MHz transmits temperature, humidity and maybe something else in a digitized form

@@jiriculak6115 The old Vaisala RS92-D sonde does not make GPS measurements, but both the RS92-SGP and newer RS41 do. For the Vaisala RS92-SGP, GPS accuracy is about 10m horizontally and 20m vertically. The US uses radiosondes with GPS sensors. A NOAA website says: "sensors on the radiosonde transmit pressure, temperature, relative humidity and GPS position data each second. ... Wind speed and direction aloft are also obtained by tracking the position of the radiosonde in flight using GPS or a radio direction finding antenna."

@@JonAhlquist yes that’s what I said. D models and all 1680mhz don’t do gps. There is also sgm model that does scrambling. I must have now close to 300 RS92,41 and few DFMs and M10s.

They need to make SDR++ into an Appimage or Flatpak...the PPA or Deb file removes like 12 Majorly IMPORTANT apps from Ubuntu Linux. How freakin bizarre.

I receive following message (Windows10) when adding “radiosonde_decoder_w64.dll” to the module directory: der Prozedureinsprungpunkt ‘args’ wurde in der DLL” D:\sdrpp_windows_x64 adiosonde_decoder_w64.dll ” nicht gefunden what can I do?
