@@powdereyes2210 It's because she's had no use- after Dragon Ball, aside from once in the Buu saga, she never appeared again. Which many people disliked, since some people liked her. So people ship Launch and Raditz together because- 1. She's a strong woman (half of the time), and the whole 'strong female archetype' makes the Saiyan monkey brain neuron activated, therefore being quite fitting 2. She's got nothing else going on, as her relationship with Tien basically went nowhere and then eventually fizzled out to no fanfare 3. Doing so would be something far more interesting than having her and Tien mill about and eventually date- since Tien's already a really fleshed-out character. Contrast this with Raditz, who by this time, is recently-introduced... there's a lot more potential to reveal stuff about him and develop compared to if Launch and Tien had remained together. A lot more character building would come of it. But, that's just me. If you still think she's unfitting, then by all means, you reserve the right to feel that way.

What about Broly he has no blood connection to Goku yet he's a fan favorite. Hell Vegeta was another early random Saiyan that became a fan favorite and he has no ties to Goku we like Raditzs cause if his unused potential. He was literally in like a few chapters of Z and never mentioned again.

I love how Raditz when complaining looks at Goku speechless, still shocked at his brother's death. He even tells Vegeta to ressurect them both, he cares in his way

God tha art and paneling look amazing, piccolo regenerating his arm as an attack was sick. I like how the writing was done too despite it being a lot more fast pace compared to Masako's interpretation. Definitely gonna check it out for myself.

I always thought that Raditz was wasted potential and it's nice to see that there's a community out there that wants to see our lost saiyan boy in the spotlight and have his own story.

He is a Saiyan. We've seen what Goku and Vegeta can do. Rditz and Nappa could also reach those heights if they had the oppertunity. Such as being spared or revived andfeeling remorseful, often the most logical reason for that change of heart is feeling stronger then most races, only to be beaten by Goku, then abandoned by Vegeta and realize to the Prince, they're expendable. But Goku saving them or reviving them and giving them a chance could change them. Goku has shown time and time again that he can move hearts and mind. Picollo, Tien, Yamcha, the Androids, Beerus, many of the Z-fighters were once enemies, but Goku's kindness softened their hearts,now they're stern allies and friends of his. Even Vegeta who was a pretty eveil dude in time turned good, riskign his own life many times for Earth he now calls home and the family he loves (despite not looking like he cares about anyone.) If Vegeta can be turned good, then I'm certain in time Raditz and Nappa could too, especially after having their pride and ego destroyed by being abandoned by Vegeta. It becomes like clay for their interactions with Goku and friends to reshape them from foe to friend.

Its moments like this that give me hope that perhaps one day the guys over at Toei would ask Toriyama to reboot Raditz in a movie format similar to what happened to Broly. Not saying retcon what happened in Z, but find a way to bring him back in the main timeline.

yes Raditz at this moment is the most forgoten character ofdragon ball even launch get few seconds in super there was bardock and ginie in manga now it wuld be soo cool to see Raditz retrn somehow good thing wuld be to pick up from battle betwen goku and hit hit manages to land deadly move on goku knokim him out and when goku revived him self with his blast he saw for a moment grandpa gohan so story culd be goku geting wierd freams and then reminding him self of Raditz then thinking abaut this asking evry one opinion then finaly resurecting him

I just want to say that these Raditz videos are the exact reason why I wanted him to appear in DB FighterZ. So much about him is just lost to time and when he is put forward he’s still the single iteration we all see him as in the Saiyan Saga. And very much like everyone else, it wouldn’t matter if Raditz was just some random saiyan, it does matter when he is his brother who’s mentioned once and then never again.

Before watching DBZA I never really cared much about Raditz but after I had watched it and watched a few videos of yours I can 100% get behind a Raditz story. I think it could have been really cool to see Raditz and Goku, if not be able to fully get along at least be able to understand that as family they should care about each other and help when they can.

Honestly Raditz and Launch are both underused characters who I WISH could have stayed in the show's canon. Heck could have even had a moment where BOTH sides of Launches personality didn't want to switch with a sneeze and wanted it to be more controlled, resulting in maybe bulma making a device to control it.. Or maybe uses the dragon balls to either split them into two beings, OR give her something to control herself.

It took years for Bardock to even get a mention and then later on an OVA, now he is in almost every media as a toy for villain X. Raditz sets the stage for unbeatable villain arcs and is forgotten in a few episodes.

I totally releate to what you said at the end there, about not being the only person who can make goodboy Raditz stories. I made a few AU's of Miraculous Ladybug where the characters are all genderbent, and now my friends act like I'm the only one who can do so and use the names I created for them. I'm constantly telling them that I don't own the concept, but they still act like they have to "get my permission" if they want to genderbend a character themselves.

While this is awesome, this has also reminded me how cute Launch was. When she wasn't full-on crazy, anyway. Still - having more depth to the two pure Saiyans we *didn't* get to meet all that much in any fashion is always interesting, to see what kind of things people take away from the very small windows into who they were that we do get. FighterZ scratched that itch a bit for Nappa... but, Raditz *does* kind of get the short end a lot. So it's neat to see someone else take a shot at the Raditz redemption arc, as well!
