I really LOVE the artwork on this one!! On the right again the cubed little windows and their reflections that I like so much also in Motorcycle Club. Love is in the air on this card, that makes it special as well. Really well done by the artist here. Apart from the artwork, this is a *really* good card-trait as well. Clever! You and the designer mention that the camp was called "X-Ray" before: I assume that this artwork had not yet been done when you guys decided to rename it to "Masquerade"?
Agree. Awesome artwork on this one as well. Daniel really enjoyed exploring the design space that traits could provide on camps. There are only so many abilities you can put on a camp before they start being the same. Yes, all of the testing was finished before the artwork was done. That included any renaming of camps if that needed to be done. Fortress was the only camp designed around the art because the ability was updated and playtested after the art for it was done. Daniel goes into a little bit of detail on that in his fortress preview.
Looks like an amazing card! I am little confused though how it works. You said that at any point in time, you can flip and peek at the punks. From my understanding of the camp, you can only peek at one punk per your turn and decide whether to flip it or not. I think peeking at all punks and then deciding which one to flip (all in one turn) is not possible.
From my understanding of the text, you are able to view all your punks at any time, and can flip however many punks you'd like during that turn given that you have enough water to do so. Also, in the Radlands rulebook, [...] indicates that it's a trait and it's always active for camps.
