I don't know if they've read the comments in ages, but listening to Danny be so happy playing these older Sierra games gives me a lot of energy. Especially in the sea of apathy that is the Internet, it's refreshing to see people genuinely enjoying stuff and encouraging positive vibes. Thanks for that, Dan.

The save game names between Arin, Ross, and Danny are in such stark contrast of each other. Ross is full of nonsense on save names Danny is describing the very moment. Arin's trying to predict the next death.

Just imagine Cliffy floating there, watching his only chance at being saved from suffocating to death trying and failing to grab him like a claw machine prize for five minutes before turning around and giving up.

I adore these kinds of play through where Dan plays his childhood games. Whether it’s be King’s quest, space quest or leisure suit Larry there’s a lot of charm to these games.

I absolutely love it when an episode comes out and it's Dan having the time of his life with games from his childhood. Just makes ya smile

I remember starting a new game and going to the secret lab's coordinates early. You could see the three-domed station, before the third dome was jettisoned, and someone hailed your ship saying that you shouldn't be there. It's pretty awesome how many little easter eggs there were in these early games. (Also, the death scene when you fail to rescue Cliffy is pretty fun, too.)

Danny, Arin, Thank you for playing this game together. I love watching Dan play but this one was one of the first games my best childhood friend and I played together. Aside from that nostalgia, I also felt that it held up in the replays I've done as an adult since. Rock on.

Everyone's talking about Arin's sick "I'm beside myself" joke, but I'm just sat here, amazed that Arin knows who H.H. Holmes is. Wonder if he's a big true crime guy. That's a pretty obscure reference.

Keep in mind that, at this point in the game, you were just ambushed by one of the mutants in the previous scene, and Quirk said he's under attack, and now you're here, investigating this mysterious pod on a strange planet with eerie music, so tension is really high. I was on the edge of my seat, and I just about jumped out of my skin when that jarring chord played, but I laughed my butt off about it afterward. Dome 1 and Dome 2 were destroyed, leaving only Dome 3, the one you're in. 40:38 And this is interesting... someone canceled the self-destruct of Dome 3. A mysterious somebody didn't want their work to be destroyed. Hmm... the plot thickens...

I was born in December 87 and grew up playing these wonderful point and click adventure games as a wee lad. SQV is a true gem. Bit of trivia here for you: Dynamix was going to make a talkie (voiced) version of this game, but due to bad financials at the time, they were forced to abandon it.

I did not exist yet when this game came out, but Sierra games somehow always give me a safe, nostalgic feeling and it’s always a pleasure to watch the Grumps play them. I just love point-and-clicks.

'Definitely about Todie' is the feel good flick of the summer

SimCity 2000 had Arcologies, one of which did feature a large bio-dome. The dome in this game seems to be visually inspired by the domes in Silent Running, a classic sci-fi film.

I'm really enjoying this series! I wish when I was younger I had known about this game, I would have totally played it!

When this series starts I feel like Arin was unenthusiastic. But Dan’s genuine happiness made him stop treating it a certain way. That’s how infectious the ‘Dan positive vibes’ can be lol
