I just can’t tell you how visceral that sound is. It’s like being completely wrapped up in that howling noise. Your hair stands on end as that howling flies past.
Another stunning video again Dafydd, tis difficult to say if your filming matches the skills of the pilot or if the skill of the pilot matches your filming 🙄🤔😁😁 Keep up the good work, splendid job again.👍👏👏 Did you get any footage of the red arrows at RAF Valley? I managed to get below them transiting back to RAF Scampton on Thursday night as they passed over Derbyshire (God's own county) 👍😁😁 well 7 ex 9 of them.
Thanks Andy. The reds displayed as a four ship as three of them went tech in shawbury on the previous display. I was standing near red 10 so asked him why four? Apparently the numbers 5, 6and 7 don’t work for a display. I did film them but being a four ship looks sparse. I did get some great cross overs which I’ll use at some point.
Nice shot (5:45) with the sun and colors. Always liked the Delta wing jets. Britain's Typhoon of WWII was a beauty and they developed another outstanding aircraft. Thanks again for sharing your passion with us, always appreciated!
I've always had a warm spot in my heart for classic delta winged aircraft. I would think that the RCS sucks, but they sure look cool. Thanks Dafydd! btw... When are you heading back to the U.S.? I love the action at "Star Wars Canyon".
Thanks Leo. Unsure when I will head back to SWC but will sure head out to Death Valley to go hunting elsewhere whilst the 1500agl notam is on the canyon. Maybe the cascades ✈️🇺🇸✈️✈️✈️
@@FranklinBurns42 well there has been one or 2 pilots ploughing into the walls you should check out c lemonie RU-vid he's done coverd a couple of accidents at swc canyon he's ex f16 and supper hornet
Great video, love this sort of thing, However, pity I didn't see the one manouver (how do you spell that?) a negative g push up, roll inverted to continue the climb the right way up before descending. It was the one move that took my breath away. Thanks for the video Dafydd.
Thank you so much for that. did not know that plane could do some of those turns. i've videod plenty of air shows and still have trouble. were you freehand, monopod or tripod?
@@DafyddPhillips it's a price that would be repaid in not very long plus the world thinks we are impressive with the T2s think what Britain's best can do with the mighty Typhoons
Yes, reheat on the EJ200 engines consume fuel at an incredible rate, and of course considering the Typhoon was thought to be an air superiority fighter in its conception, its fuel tanks weren’t designed to be huge by the likes of the Tornado or the Jaguar.
she is just awesome!! made for dog fighting, the modern day Sptifire, fly by wire, you can chuck her around all over the place.. she was designed as NATOs front line fighter, sadly the Italians, Spanish, Germany ect have not gone through with the upgrades like the R.A.F she is now a very capable dog fighting machine, second to none and the R.A.F now have the ground attack version
Wow!! Has this flight team ever been to the US by chance? I would love to see a performance! I think it would be awesome to see them perform here on the US side. Has the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels come out and performed for you guys?
... a truly magnificent accomplishment in the annals of flight-history: stunning aerodynamics, highly versatile tactical-role fulfillment, powerful electronics-suite for the genuine battlefield of the future, just-enough stealth... and for just the right-price. A rare instance where a bureaucracy of design didn't entirely stumble over itself.
@@snakezdewiggle6084 Ej200 does not have thrust vectoring. I'm wondering if they have done the same with the RB199 on the tornado. Tune one for low-level and one for high altitude.
Dans les bonnes mains j' envisage le Rafale beaucoup plus dynamique, leger et esthetique. En depit de cette demonstration si puissant je encore m' attache au Ragale aussi.
TO BE HONEST WITH YOU....THE TYPHOON DOESNT APPEAL TO ME....THE WAY I SEE IT...THE TYPHOON PERFORMS EQUALLY AND MOVES JUST LIKE THE F16 FALCON....SORRY...BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE F16 AND TYPHOON......F16 HANDS DOWN.... BUT MY FAVOURITE PLANE OF ALL IS THE LEGENDARY F14 TOMCAT....I WISH THE U.S. NEVER RETIRED IT??....😢😣💔
How can you say that the typhoon display team is boring when they do a lot for the United Kingdom they don't just do the display they have there normal jobs two witch is the "QRA" so have a bit more respect for them. I think your boring 💤 😴
