Rafa is an insanely gifted, iconic athlete. At age 12, his father made him decide between tennis and futbol so that his schoolwork didn’t suffer. @@Andres-qm1xx Roger and Nole haven't the mental power of Rafa. Rafa was the kid who, at the and of the training, picked up all the balls one by one. I imagine like this. You can find some videos with Nole and Roger breaking some rackets...i never seen Rafa breaking a racket, or touching his knee while he was loosing, like Nole.

whether with a tennis ball or a balloon, everything Rafa does with these two is always close to perfection, he is obviously the strongest and most talented player of his generation
Djoko is well aware he didn't stand a chance to take lead if Rafa wasn't injured. Even with injuries Rafa is few meters away from Djoko. Mind you Djoko is great. No denial there. But Rafa is the greatest. Both of them are touch ahead of Federer. But all 3 of them are absolute legends and in all likelihood will never be surpassed as a combination

now you all know ,,yyyy he dominated the tennis world...the best athlete to ever play the game. i bet you all,,if he chose to play the worlds most beautiful game (( football)) chances are,,he would have made a splash on the world stage,,,just like tennis..!!! the complete package.
In his teens he had an option to either choose tennis or football because he was good at both and he chose tennis, the rest is history. He's a decent golf player too, a man of many talents.
Oh don't forget he's a great golfer...plays Pro/Am tournaments 😮... Sorry no amount of work will get you there (that great) if the talent isn't embedded!
I wouldn’t go THAT far. Can’t see Rafa playing basketball or baseball or even football. Rafa is NOT the optimal athlete. He is just doggedly mechanical like Bjorn Borg was. I couldn’t picture Borg as athletically transcendent either.
@@RandallEike I actually meant that they have similar athleticism. Can you picture Rafa dunking a basketball? I can’t. Can you picture Rafa throwing a baseball? ..l can’t. Meanwhile Nole did all that at the U.S. Open…
@@Roadrunner65553 every tennis play should be able to throw a baseball well, it is not that different from the serve motion. I doubt Rafa can dunk, but I thought we were comparing to Borg. Rafa is a scratch golfer despite a horrendous golf swing. Rafa isn't even left handed. He is a naturally gifted athlete.

@@senders779 I would go that far. Shows how much you know about sports. See I can kick a soccer ball EASILY. But hitting a solid backhand in tennis requires some practice. Footballs skills are easier.
@@Roadrunner65553Football is a more well known game because of its easiness and enjoyment to play and watch. Both sports are good but football is definitely a bigger sport than tennis due to the above reasons. Also maybe due to the ability of people to work as teams. It's a team sport and humans have evolved to work as teams. That also gives it a higher edge
