He has the right attitude. Wish it were more normal, though. I think quite a lot of little known players never throw or smash racquets in anger, but it obviously doesn't get talked about. I know I've never broken one on purpose, though I once accidentally broke one by tapping the back of a bench with it to get my opponent's attention in an argument. I felt bad and also pretty surprised because I didn't think I'd swung at all hard.

Indeed, there was some interview for a spanish tv show not very long ago, before said interview they played a small tennins match, nothing serious. The presentator of the tv show threw the racket to the ground at the end of the "match", after lossing it. You could see nadal was really upset. Not that he made a big deal of it but you could tell that he doesnt like such things. I think rackets are sacred for this guy.

Many tennis players are horribly spoiled and because of their sponsorship they treat their hundreds of dollars rackets like it's nothing and break them without any regards. Nadal knows better and even when he's frustrated he never breaks his racket

@Ian Novak I still think they’re both equally matched, just so happens that they have their own strengths and weaknesses where Djokovic dominates on hard courts while Nadal does the same on clay. But regarding overall statistics neither are too good for the other
