Interesting technique and controlled all the way thru. Looks like it would work well in no gi and it looks like you could transition to the triangle if something crazy happens during the transition to omoplata. I like it!
Love this technique. Once the arm is trapped in top side control, you can hit a Baby Arm* (see below for link to Baby Arm arm bar) with high percentage and without losing control. Their defense is to grab their own wrist which puts you in the perfect position To transfer to omoplata. *Baby Arm (bar) : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E041Z42fNfk.html
this guy is my guru.....he is excellent teacher...and i am addicted to all his fights...absolutely amazing practitioner...you know the best practitioners are those who arent big with big weights muscle...even roger is lean.. this ugy is lean...marcelo garcia is strong but not like body builder...leo viera , lean roletta lean. ok galvao is kind of like a bit bulky weights or drugs ...but still a great fighter.
sou faixa roxa de jiu-jitsu to a 3 antes parada ,sem treino. motivos de saúde tenho uma pergunta sobre regras atuais de competição . e qro sabe se o omoplata foi proibido ?
He doing it seems easy. Then you try that at the gym... and it’s also (kinda) easy, because it’s an solid position, and, as such, should work more times than not.
in reality it is not easy..as most people above blue belt willbe very difficult to get the arm back ..they instinctively keep their elbows kind of on the chest.
