He injured his foot in FO2021 and in fact was playing the whole clay court season with a bad foot yet he still won Barcelona and Rome and beat Novak at Rome. French Sports Minister was sued by Rafa for lying about doping in 2016-17. Nadal WON the lawsuit and received damages from that lying sack of shit minister. There is a reason you anti-fans no longer talk about the doping allegations ever since 2017 when that minister admitted she had no evidence, LMAO. They are both amazing but you can’t say Federer is ahead of Rafa when Rafa leads the head to head 24-16. That’s a sizable lead and Rafa leads their finals 14-10 and grand slam head to head 10-4 which truly is the most most significant stay of all. It’s a shame they never played at the us open but all in all, Rafa won most of their big matches.

It's more his powerful high bouncing shots which are perfect for clay, but yes he does move well on it too.
@sn07
@sn07 2 года назад

@alexfrye6
@alexfrye6 2 года назад
@@sn07 I guess there's strategy too but what more is there? Nadal's game is clearly perfectly suited to clay and as far as I can see 13 Roland Garros wins is just a natural result of that. He's won the clay court masters almost as much as Roland Garros. The slightly better results there can be easily explained by some combination of chance, the fact it's a major so he prioritizes it, the fact it's best of five and maybe the surface being extra high bouncing. Also he didn't lose in 2016 he withdrew due to injury, so that's only three match losses.
@kgaming5977
@kgaming5977 2 года назад
Clay is better at defending which Nadal is really good at, he slides to each side with ease. He is the master of Clay, while Fedrer is the same with Grass.
@alexfrye6
@alexfrye6 2 года назад
@@kgaming5977 Clay does make it easier to defend but that doesn't mean defensive players are best on clay. Look at Andy Murray, super defensive but better on fast courts. Nadal is more of an offensive baseliner especially in his later career and is best on clay. I think it's more to do with power vs precision and topspin vs flat shots. Power and topspin are best for slower surfaces, precision and flat hitting are best for faster surfaces.
