@@gleedameister of course back then only... nobody starts to model at 33 or 34... but to Rafa's credit he can still carry off the designer stuff that he had done some years ago... he is an amazing kid...
I'm a Fed fan, but if you asked me, Nadal is the best sportsman by a country mile. No fear, leaves nothing, completely natural. The game and the interview are intertwined.
Journalist :" Is it possible that this year, Roger Federer would win Roland Garros, but Rafa would win Wimbledon?" Rafa :" You have any paper and I can sign !"
Love the sound of his spanish. His personality is more pronounsedwhen he speaks spanish and he speaks the very beautiful spanish of spain! I'm sooo lucky to be bilingual! VAMOOOS!!!!! RAFA!!!! Siempre lindo!!!!!♥
That looked like Jim Courier... class indeed...he thinks he can say anything because it is Rafa... who probably does not understand that sort of language...
He gave that guy who asked about his relationship with other players the right treatment... friends are in school in majorca... perfecto... "no1 for the sportivity...correcto...?" oh... somethings Rafa says are almost sage-guru-like... unconsciously super-conscious... "wind...lightning...thunder...can anything stop you...?" "may be djokovic or baghdatis tomorrow..". ... what a fabulous kid this Rafa... he should be timed in a sprint... guess he would have won an olympic gold...
Funny is when he say loud what he was thinking about what he was saying in english. Like this one 3:55 Is a dream for me and In spanish says "holy fuck that's a cool one" ironically.
his spanish talk also is funny - i guess - the way he and his audience and his interviewer keep giggling...or laughing when he rapid fires in his native lingo...but he is such a sweet kid...
@@bigbulk688 something in me always dies when I see Rafa... he is not the same force not the same beautiful carefree kid not the freewheeling athlete doesnt speak his mind like b4.. overall I think now we have to settle for mediocre tennis by the rest...
@@jayap3557 I agree. I think they broke the mold that made Roger, Rafa, Nole. Even the next line with Murray, Roddick, Del Potro, Nalabandian, and who not was awesome. This generation of Zverevs, unfortunately, lacks the charisma and consistency that makes up the legends. And there isn't any on the horizon either. This is the last of the known generation of tennis now. 10 years from now, tennis has no future. Tennis now is only worth watching in the highlights, live is seriously too exhausting.
@@jayap3557 Rafa is almost 35 years old, of course he is not the same as he was before, I can’t imagine a 35 years old man behaving as a kid in press conferences, it doesn’t matter how adorable he looked back then. As to speaking his truth, I think Rafa is one of the most honest players when it comes to answer questions. Always pretty consistent, and he says what he has to say without much filter. Always respectful despite of how many times he is asked the same questions. I love and respect his honesty.
After the "i am very happy" at/around 3:51 Rafa went on to beat his opponent in his 2005 1st ever grand slam...unbelievable...only he could have laughed like that and come to the court the next day and jump/run around and win the match... cant stop marveling at this wonderful kid...And then at 6:33..." bad new..." :-) only Rafa can say such things and not bug the grammar mafia... he looks like a sweet little girl... in that printed jacket... he gets so shy when someone asks him about his sprint speed... lovely chap...always...
3:44 The first sentence and we are already in trouble, or what? La primera frase y ya la estamos liando o que? 3:56 This is a good one. Ostia, es buena esta.
balearic islands you know... so cute... proud of his island home town... what a face he makes at those guys asking vague questions...hilarious... thankyou very much bye bye... omg Rafa the funster... From 1:43 to 2:04 in a blue nike t-shirt... what exactly is Rafa involved in...? one scene looks like straight out of a francisFordCoppola gangster movie...it is so hilarious tho...
His english is his best friend.. oh so funny...:-) Who learns english on the move... pat in the middle of a press conference like Rafa does... nobody... just that makes him such a special kid... "Ran away"... "what...?" laugh... such a crazy kid...and it is so great that he did not bother with polishing his english to impress the english speaking press... he is a naturally good person... and he is doing a frequent sotto voce in his spanish... wonder what he is saying... may be letting out steam against those stupid-question askers...
et.... Il ne s est departi NI DE SON SOURIRE. NI DE SON HUMOUR BRAVO ENCORE À CE JEUNE PRODIGE BIEN ÉLEVÉ ET AU COMBIEN CHARISMATIQUE TOUT CELA EST À METTRE AU CRÉDIT DE SON GD SUCCÈS 🤩⭐👌💘👍😃🤗🤗🤗
RAFA IS SO SHY AND HUMBLE IN THE INTERVIEWS...BUT WHEN HE GETS INTO THE TENNIS COURT THAT SHYNESS DISAPPEARS AND HE BECOMES A LION ....AND FEDERER A TIGER !💖💖🐐🐐🔥🔥👑👑🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I fell in love with his cheeky, funny personality, then saw the tornado of a tennis player others feared at the other end of a net 'A beast' I believe Roddick called him
From 2005 till 2020 these guys wanted to know from this kid...about "what is your relationship with Roger Federer"...why are they so curious...? cant 2 people in the same business be associates... sort-of-friends with each other...? some peoples' views are so warped that they want everything to run in whatever one track that they have in their minds...sad... Much like the sentiment in the hindi hit song of the 70s... "hathon se chuke ise rishton ka ilzaam na do"... dont try so hard to put a label on any human relationship...
It's slang for many things. You can express surprise, anger... You can translate it for "damn", i guess. It is also a blow, a hit. But the original term means "host", you know, the bread that christians eat at the mass.
What is Rafa talking at 4:48 onwards till 4:56... he has such a naughty expression on his face...must be something up his sleeve... he definitely needs uncle coach mama etc there ... the ones in the scene look like gangsters... the guy clarifying about the word "escape" is funny... escape was far better than "ran away with the match"...silly guy... and some nicola ..wise guy...
