What is Raft Foundation?
A reinforced concrete slab under the building is known as a Raft Foundation. A raft foundation helps to spread the load of the building over a larger area and reduce the pressure on the ground.
What is the use of the Raft Foundation?
Raft foundation is used as structural support for the structures like residential or commercial buildings where soil condition is poor, storage tanks, silos, foundations for heavy industrial equipment, etc.
Reinforcement Arrangement in Raft Foundation
The foundation slabs are reinforced with two wire meshes, one placed at the lower fibers and one at the upper fibers
Role of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) before Raft Foundation
The bar bending schedule (BBS) of a concrete footing provides the reinforcement details and the total steel quantity required for the Raft Foundation.

I think chair legs should be placed above bottom reinforcement not on PCC. As in case of slab we used Please clarify it.

definetly chair bar bottom leg will tie with bottom main bar .. phenomenal with bottom main bar only . with intact of bottom main bar which touches cover back even tough bottom main bar also dont touch pcc directly as cover block provided at the bottom

I think bottom main bar should be provided in longer section in raft foundation, then distribution bars in shorter section as uplift from the soil to the flat slab is equal in all direction and moment developed in the longer section is more. Please correct if I am wrong. Thank you.

I think the chair is provided to maintain the gap (uniformly and throughout)between top and bottom reinforcement mesh. And the second purpose of the chair is of course to hold the top and bottom mesh.

In the floorplan drawing the chair is placed on top of bottom mesh. But during animation you said to put the chair directly on pcc.

Sir ek chota sa doubt hai , ki jo chair bar hai usska jo leg hai ( "L" shape) wo pcc mai rest karega ya bottom main bar ke upar rest kare ga ..... animation mai aapne pcc ke upar rest dikhaya ....
