This song takes me back to 2 years ago May 25 when I was given a new lease on life when I thought death was all that was meant for me. I met some of the bravest people on this planet who wrapped me in unconditional love and changed my life forever and I know I changed theirs and all of us together was no accident - it was beautiful in ways only they will understand and I hold dear to my heart. I owe learning about this musician to Eric Day who I think about along with the others who created a bond that changed the experience of living with deep depression and gave us hope when hope seemed all but gone and only for others. My wish for each of them is that they are experiencing a beautiful and joyous life. Although I still encounter days where depression grabs hold of me, I know I am meant for this world to do great things and make a positive impact where ever I can and with whomever will let me in. I listen to this song daily to remind me that I should never forget them as they truly are my heroes. The likelihood of ever seeing any of them again is slim except when we meet in heaven. Until then, I hold them close to my heart and give them my unconditional love. If you happen to read this and it resonates with you, perhaps you were there with me or you had a similar situation where your world was uncertain until you realized it is an awesome gift and you were/are meant to be. God Bless you and anyone else who needs to know that we all have a purpose that is bigger than ourselves -we just need to listen to the heart that beats and know it is true.
