The rag is better. You have more control with the roller but the rag just makes it pop more.

What about the edges? How do those get done?

Thanks for the video Is it possible to use two shades of glaze,using colours that are closely related. For example ,if the base coat is a shade of light yellow satin,cant you apply two shades of blue to give an illusion of yellow,light green and a little darker green. l think it worths trying because of my artistic skills. Think about it

If I bought a semi gloss paint, will that still work?

You said to use only latex satin finish, is this technique not good with other types of paint, say flat gloss, etc?

What would it .look like with three colors?

Can you put the glaze ON with a rag or sponge roller, rather than first applying the glaze with a normal roller and then taking it off with the specialty roller? Or will glaze not work like that? I have a HUGE wall to lighten, and since I am forbidden to get on ladders by my doctor, my options are limited... and no matter what I do, I'll never be able to get clean upper edges :(

Why not download it to the wall without the glaze

why must it be a satin finish paint? Why not a flat finish paint?

use a hand held sponge...the roller sponge does not give that same effect...
