@Django5198 This is 'Ahir Bhairav' Raga. It has 2nd and 7th note as Flattened. In Ragas we have to follow a certain rule. So it doesn't follow the western structure. The rule is that we there are certain notes which are prohibited while making ascending and descending movements.

This is why Acoustic Guitar is probably the greatest musical instruments of all time. Can play anything with it. It can replace piano, cello, sitar, drum, etc except maybe flute.

An interesting experience I've had with Indian ragas is that they are pretty much instrument independent. Since the stress is more on the mood or colour(raga) you can play it on any instrument and it feels the same. As opposed to scales in western classical, which is very instrument specific because each instrument I guess is very scale specific? Great job kapil.

really wisdh price for course wasnt soo much higher for non indians not all non indians have much money but really love what you are doing beautiful music dont get to hear much ragas on guitar

I think it's rare to find exactly what you want on youtube with the first video you play. This is amazing. I can't explain why but this music makes me feel so many things at once.
It's a Gb&a guitar and the main reason of such sharp tone is it's steel strings. You should also notice the background 'Drone Strings Sound' ambiance and i.e. 'Taanpura' which makes the whole aura purely classical..
Your Guitar is not tuned properly, Becasue your Guitar's Vibrational frequency is a slight different from your Thampura, It may be due to the alignment of fret
it outstood to such negligible barriers who cares he played phenomenally correct and it attracted the audience like magnet then who cares what thampura is aligned to the tone or not 🙏
Its due to a equal temperament of the instrument, which is standart for the western music. You can read about this topic in the internet. In Indian classical music the just intonation is used in most of the cases, to match perfectly tampura. But if you alighn frets in that way on guitar - than you cant play anything else out of the key of tanpura and cant play cords, which is making instrument to lose its purpose it was designed for. Still there are some experimentators, who design such guitars for plaing indian classics and it become something in between of sitar and sarod :)

Sir, it's too good.... amazingly played.. BUT please always check if the guitar is tuned on all frets. Tanpura is on accurate D and your notes on guitar are slightly higher than tanpura. all notes are higher than actual notes. most of the guitars can't stay tuned after 5th fret. so please find a guitar which stays tuned on all frets. It's necessary for Raagas if tanpura is there.

Prashant Panda that is why tabla n guitar is not matching. search for a guitar which is even in frets. and there is video on RU-vid which ia about doing the actual tunning of guitar
