Ragdoll Cats Talkative? Bowie is, He Meows a Lot!
Bowie, our Ragdoll cat, meows at everything he does. He got that from Mavi, his mother. I can still remember him walking down the hall with his mother at the cattery and they both meowed non-stop. The owner then told me that Mavi is quite a talkative cat and it seems that Bowie is too. Bowie is most definitely a talkative Ragdoll cat and I love it!

My Ragdoll Yuki is super chatty too! He announces himself when he comes in a room and loves to join in conversations.

Only time I'll get any meows is when he's hungry, or wants me to take him out of the cat backpack when we're going for a bicycle ride. Sometimes my cat never knows what he wants out of life.🤷‍♂️

Bowie is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, but not for too long. Bowie is not a lap cat, but always wants to be near me and in the same room.

My Bowie isn’t super-chatty. Sure, he sometimes meows at us, if we’re in the middle of a conversation that (gasp!) doesn’t include him! He’ll give us a little mew, just after coming into a room, but these get louder, the nearer we get to dinnertime. In fact, we’ve figured that each of his meows just means, ‘Food?’ >^.^
