First few hours of playing, it was so much fun and a cool concept, but after a day or so, something seemed repetitive, like all of a sudden I got so goddamn bored of the game for no apparent reason and lost my interest of playing it again. Its like the game is fun and boring at the same time, its strange.
RAGE2 is a great fun game, but to get the most out of it, I did spend quite some time in the KeyBindingsSettings, to readjust the game to the playstyle I’m used to. 1-4 keys I dedicated to abilities: 1-slam 2-vortex 3-shield 4-rage, to name the few. Gamers mouse with more than 3 buttons also is mandatory.
On my third playthrough now and I would say the biggest game changer in how to play it are not the weapons, but the abilities. Other than the bosses you can basically melee everybody, and clever use of heavy melee strike as well as shatter are the keys to higher difficulty levels.
I find that the trade town of Oasis is better due to the Armadillo that responds right outside the town border, and it gives you $200. Therefore you can get $600 with each trip. The location I go to salvage a vehicle is the Shrouded Workshop. I pick up a pulviriser to drive back.
Wait to play the game. There are major bugs which prevent you to finish the game. Like the Ecopod mission, many people got stuck there and no fix on the way. Or make separate saves before any mission.
I started on ultra nightmare. Ain't no way you can hunt all of the arks first. Focus needs to be on projects and acquiring the shotgun, rocket launcher, grav jump, slam and shatter. I wouldn't even say defib because when you get swarmed, you get one defib and that has to be used as the get out of jail free card. Defib then run. Focus on boosting all of those and work on augmentations in between. Try to unlock all of the projects when you start, do side missions to build feltrite and cash. Save cash for neuronic interfaces, make sure to unlock and upgrade turret drones and health infusions and collect the resources to make them so that you can always have on hand. Turret drones help in a pinch. Don't see this game as fulfilling to play on easy settings. You won't experience the action that you're meant to experience.
if u want to deal with the group of enemies then single rocket is the best or if u want to deliver maximum damage to a single enemy then multiple micro rockets do more, and shotgun is always the best weapon in id's fps
i love this game. the only thing that is kinda annoying is the gun controls they a bit sticky. like if you quickly aim to the right. it will make me aim a bit faster than what i want regardless of where my sensitivity is at.
I don't care what anyone says about this game, it's fun as hell to play and the visuals are amazing. BTW thanks for your tips, you're straight to the point and your editing is on point.
Really loving this game right now but unfortunately I am unable to get any projects points I have all 3 characters at almost level 6 and even if I complete an activity for some one and get some points from the level up screen but for some reason when I go to spend them it just says I don't have any and it's kinda runing a £50 game
one more tip is to sell the car bullets, you get tons of bullets by roaming around the map and picking it up. Sell them and you will have money to buy other upgrades. I personally keep 2000 out of 4000 bullets and sell the rest.
Don't know how you missed the shot gun, it was like the 3rd gun I got aside from the first 2 you get in the beginning, though maybe I just got it so soon because I started with going to Gunbarrel
I just got this game. I realized it came out before but I didn’t know if I’d like it. Now that I see there is upgrades and ways to make your guns stronger I want to get that! I did! Lol! Thanks for the vdeo very helpful. Has anyome noticed that the graphics seem to improve the more you play the game. It started off looking like xbox 360 graphics but seems to get better.
I found rage 1 to be better. The atmosphere was more tense and the large mutant was epic when you first encounter it. Now the large mutants are easy to beat, even on ultra nightmare.
Yo JorRaptor or anyone can someone tell me why none of the vehicles that i saved in the town or the one’s I earned from missions i cant upgrade the only vehicle that gives me that option is the Phoenix. Can someone please help?
Really enjoying this game bought the deluxe edition on stadia last night for $19 bucks and its been a blast so far. Its just a breathe of fresh air with only a handful of weopons to find and a skill tree thats not overwhelming just a fun mindless if it moves shoot it run an gun fps
I'd love to unlock the Doctor's projects but no matter how many times I talk to him it keeps saying I need to meet him to unlock his projects... So I quit playing because I guess my save is broken...
FREE on Epic Games right now. Devs never tell you when you're trying to do the Grav Jump' for the very first time in the tutorial you have to SPRINT and then JUMP.
Rage 2 is way to easy its kind of disappointing. All you need is dash, rush and ar. You get ar in the beginning. The shotgun will help in the beginning when the ar is not upgraded. Fully upgrade the ar and those two abilities and any area should be almost instant clearance. Get the revive too and upgrade that. Grav jump is also a must have
fack. i was goin thru missions hoping to get new guns..shit got hard...DUH theyd be in arks. pausing that screen n getting some badass new guns. The only thing is..the menu..is real laggy. switching between your tabs..is like 2 sec delay
Upgraded Assault Rifle with regular ammo is all you need. Headshots for the win. Plow in and use Overdrive to clean up the dumb AI even faster. Took every single boss in the game down easy with Assault Rifle; didn't even need Overdrive.
