Rage Duo Arenas with Hafu: Part 1

combo is nothing in arena, i don't understand why Hafu is so stupid. Combos are good in ladder bcs everyone plays combos and is not spamming board with minions (that's what happens in arena and you HAVE to use combo pieces just for tempo). THIS IS EASY AS HELL to understand, why Hafu is so silly?

Honestly i believe she makes much more reasonable choises when playing on her own. I suppose she is a bit confused playing with amaz, as a "junior" player.

She is better in arena than Amaz and Kripp, who are very popular, and she has proven that thousands of times, of course people will dislike her.

I actually really liked her reason for picking Stand Against Darkness, it was nothing about dude synergy.

Yes, her reasoning was legit.

a lot of wrong points from either side lul. sure the 4/4 on 5 isnt the best. but stand against darkness doesnt have any of the supposed synergy on turn 5 either.. also whenever she would suggest that one of her picks wouldve been better it wouldnt even have been drawn og been playable at that time either. last point in the draft she didnt want to draft slow cards after which she wanted to draft wurm and then ultrasaur? doesnt get slower than that.

The other alternatives wasn't that good either when they drafted Ultrasaur.

Against Paladin you really want to clear their board so they can't buff it. Stand Against Darkness is great for guaranteeing a target for Spikeridged Steed, Dinosize etc. Shame they didn't have many buffs. I think in that first game they lost the 5 1/1s would've been a lot better than the 4/4. Would of tanked more damage and stuff since you want to clear Paladin buff targets.

But side note tho, i suck with pala in arena. So i’m not saying i’m right.

Hafu makes greedy combo choices. Greed is ususally punished, and 90% of people know this

"combo " is a definition of greed. Especially in arena draft, where you have no garantee to get any sinergy at all and just get single not-so-good-card.

+Zengone108 You're right it isn't a valid argument per say, but if you read between the lines and actually think about it you might understand what I'm talking about.. Amaz is entertaining, but he never actually think through what to do. Like when the 5 mana buff card is available you just pick it is what he would say (not even considering his other options). And that card is actually not that good in a tempo-oriented game mode as arena. Especially when you don't have any aoe which they didn't have. That's where the normally worse card baron geddon comes in.. I don't know but I feel like Hafu wanted a little more thinking and less casual "eeeeaaaasssy" when it actually wasn't easy. And I guess I also would've been kinda salty if there was so much they didn't agree upon and Amaz takes all the picks he wanted except equality.

you didn't say Amaz is better than Hafu, you said Hafu made bad plays. However, it has already been statistically proven that Hafu is not a bad player, in fact one of the best. No, I do not watch Hafu, nor do I like her streams, but doesn't mean she plays badly, just different. Also, a pro player thinks about every possible choice and goes from there. Have you not seen bobby fischer's unthinkable plays?

She's just one of the best arena player ( simply judging by the arena leaderboard ) but ok guy's you must be better

Even if picking stand against darkness is obvious enough for a rank 18 to know its a mistake, doesnt mean it would be that bad. I mean obviously its worse but amaz fucks the deck up so much more when he does things like passing on aoe for 6-mana do nothing.
