Back in the day when I played this game I felt your PAIN with these races 😭😭😭 raged was out the roof I could only imagine how frustrated I would be !

Lol yeah now it's a step-up in difficulty. I did my own play through of this game last summer (not filmed) and I think I figured out some things that makes the progression more bearable. I do like these authentic episodes where you really show the struggle this game is sometimes so read the rest just if you want. I know you said you've played this game a lot before but still something might be new. • I rarely used nitrous before the end of races because more often than not it was possible to blow past the AIs at the end using the nitrous, however far in front they seem in the middle of the race. • I almost never restarted races mid-race. It for one accumulated decent money over time finishing more races but it also seemed to mellow the AI faster when finishing lower and then restarting, rather than doing it mid-race. • A metric in the stats menu called skill rating seems to determine the AI difficulty to some extent. During the campaign I hovered around 80-90 for the latter half of the campaign but had to drop to like 49 to complete Choppers of America (the way the bounce bruh), breezed through the end game and finished campaign at skill level 113, and later got up to 119. Just as reference.

The Big Playas are the final boss of Midnight Club 3. Forget the US Championships or the Imperial Palace tournament, these guys and their kamikaze Cayennes are no joke. I've been racing them in my H2 and my cheeks have never been more clenched. But every time I beat one of those trials of iron they call races it's so relieving.

Bro you're so funny, I can tell you really enjoying this game. I played this game for yeaaaaars online, had the greatest times on PS2 with the friends I met on that game. Good times fr.

You know a playthrough is top tier when you can rewatch it a second time and it's still just as good as the first.

Turbo Cayennes, bro, no wonder you were struggling :D Sadly, the Escalade is actually kind a slow car, in which case you don't really have any better options than to wait and hope the AI makes a mistake and then take advantage of that. Keep in mind, when you start struggling with all your cars, you'll have to buy a new one and upgrade it to keep up, you know what I'm saying? That could help too. See you in the next ep 👍

I'm just watching this playthrough and I forgot how the game basically gives you the choice of either medium difficulty or extreme difficulty depending on your car choice and seeing you choose the extreme route is honestly hilarious. Sidenote the Xbox version runs far better than the ps2 version which is why I typically avoid the ps2 one. Rain is a huge lag component as well.
