I am from india and i have also heard that ki india me bhi aise hi ragging hoti hai and this scares me ki itna competitive exam NEET clear krne ke baad ye sab krna pdega 😢
"Ragging" is done by people who have self esteem issues and desperately need something to feel good about themselves (reasons for having low self esteem can be discussed but then you'll call me classist ;) ). It's pathetic really, the world has progressed quite further for this to be acceptable today.
