I was beaten by seniors. Then i lodged complaint. Then unke parents paaon mein pade. Gajab beizathi hui thi un seniors aur unke parents ki. Chanakya always wins. Then I was the anti ragging committe till college ended. There is no ragging in my college till today. Theni medical college, Tamil Nadu.

@@Girllikeapearl723 I have lot of friends who are in government medical colleges, some are in private and some are doing mbbs from deemed universities...from their experiences I came to a conclusion that ragging in GMC is way more harsh and brutal than the private or deemed ones... infact in private or deemed colleges seniors don't harras you verbally or physically...they just have some set of rules which must be followed by juniors or specifically 1st year students... that's all...and talking about other than mbbs colleges I've heard that ragging is very common in IITs and other engineering colleges ( and it's brutal too!)...apart from this for other degrees it really depends upon Which college you're admitting in ...cuz for same degree you may experience ragging in one college and not in other ones... @@VikramSingh-dg3nl seniors can not do anything to help. You need to do everything on your own. Rely on books, not on humans. And yes there's a mental strength if ppl around you , and seniors are good around you. So that way they help because they are already there.
I m going through this harrasment in my medical college.. I left college yesterday, i wasted my 3 years to enter into a medical nd when i landed there i m being brutally targeted by seniors nd teacher...😩 I dont want to b a doctor anymore for which i desperately wasted my many years after my 12

I am from a Medical College and I fought back against the offenders strongly with everything I could. Ragging only reflects on the pathetic and frustrated state of the the offenders and has nothing to do with you. If you cannot bear it or it’s impossible to fight just go to the management or police. Both the IPC and Anti Ragging cell nationwide has severe punishments for ragging.
Good for you. I’m proud you fought back, you’re the only one i see here in the comment section who did the right thing. Others said they just let it happen which is quite sad. Sometimes you need to stand up for yourself in life and have the courage to say ‘NO’
I got bullied , cornered In Royal Global University which is in Guwahati , Assam in the Law department, in their confession page I was a victim of cyber bullying also in the class of 10 people , I got bullied because of my health. It was the most terrific experience even the faculty didn't take action when my parents approach , they told I have problem within me otherwise no ragging is their in their college , I cried and sit alone for months, after I Become an IAS officer I will surely make strict rules against this social evil which is never took seriously. The child is broken from within both mentally , emotionally and physically, I'm grateful to God that phase ended and the classmate who did this to me were detained in the 3rd year. KARMA do exist god doesn't spare evil ppl

After preparing for Clat examination, I got selected into an National law University but i had left the university due to ragging. I was traumatized for 2 weeks after joining the university but somehow I managed. At last it was out of resistance for me to survive there so i had left the university in just 25 days. Government is saying that they had made laws on ragging and the university administration will assist you if you face ragging but this is the biggest lie. They will not do a single action against these types of things infact they will say that it is a positive interaction. Shame .....

Omg yeah.. not gonna reveal my college name but ragging in hostel...was worst..like in my first year they used to come and pour coconut oil on head and face.. cut of the clothes that we would have put for drying... ask us to kiss and lick the toilet..😢😢😢 but then came second year.. we literally protected our juniors... everywhere..

This is what is crux of pro ragging argument .Fear not real respect is created by so called seniors,who are actually nothing in terms of achievement (I don't think passing first year is any achievement). Rather they should try to bring a solution how to avoid such things in the future, my friend is currently studying in NIT Nagaland, at the beginning when my friend went there they started trying to ragged 1st sem but then all the 1sem students discussed about it and fought back with them, now there the Seniors don't do ragging that much only minor. Ans even they are planning to completely remove ragging from NIT Nagaland in the near future. See just work together everyone and no one will dare to ragged anyone.

I told to my parents and my brother went to seniors home and gave there parents warning that he would break there bones if this happens again .....now i am in 3 rd year

Mechanical branch in engineering is the most brutal branch interms of ragging. Udhar girls bhi sabse kam hoti hai compare to other branches toh koi bhi hadd tak chale jate hai. 😅😅😅 CSE aur ECE mein girls ke karan thodi limit rakhni padhti hai.

Yup he is bams.. Just after postgraduation in ayurveda he got movie.. Ragging is a crime.. At the age of 17 he faced ragging, but after age 18 there was no ragging fir him and he studied for 6 year more..

@@Girllikeapearl723because you need guidance from seniors in medical college . But similar case is not with engineers...because they can do things themselves. Medical study is very tough, so you need someone to help you with , but not in case of engineers. Although ragging ( only mild) happens at both colleges. Ragging is prevalent in private colleges or lower colleges. Because private students are rich and lower college students are big idiots. Try to go to a college of national importance like nit, iit aur aiims ...you wont find ragging . Although ragging was very common in iits too , my neigbour was from 2011 batch and he told that he was made to strip at iit kanpur . Similary ragging was very prevalent in aiims , there is a documentry too made on it it named placebo till 2013-14....but since social media is very used now which was not the case before , now student can record anything and get it published and very severe punishment is given for it. Ragging used to happen at all colleges in india till 2015 , but now its not prevalent because people are more sensitive these days and dont try to indulge in bad things which was destory there career. I am a student at Nit and nothing happened in 1st year to be called as ragging , they took some introduction classes only. Similarly one of my friend is in medical college , nothing much happened. He was told to dance only. Nothing more. So ragging is not common these days although it used to be .
Part he ignored was- "main jab senior bana maine bhi ragging kia" sab same hote hai sirf social media main cool banne keliye yesab bolte hai. P. S- mera abhi ragging hota hain in medical college main 1st year
