I am Bengali and can rarely understand what Amma is singing, but its like goddess saraswati lived within her. It is a privilege listening to her. She is the biggest proponent of Carnatic music and listen to her suprabhatams.

Late M.S.Subbulakshmy amma was a rockstar in Carnatic music. Her style is the most delightful to listen to. I grew up listening to Amma all my childhood yet I never realized that till I heard this Kriti from her as well as from other contemporaries. She is just Awesome. God-gifted artists like this seldom visit earth.
I m from a telugu speaking srivaishnav family. Before marriage and also after marriage i m staying in north india. As the language used in all the songs of carnatic music r in the purest form , i cannot understand them , i just enjoy them wholeheartedly irrespective of the composers. So while searching for meaninga of the songs in comments box , i sometimes come across their meanings ( wholehearted thanks to all those who take the trouble to send the meaninga ) and at times i come across verbal fights about the meaning of word karnatic. I feel disheartened. Staying in north i have started learning hindi bhajans. I request to such people but enjoy music and essence of its meaning
What a rendition of the krerthan 💕 given by Amma. It is beyond my level of music understanding. I am blessed to have lived within the era of the Bharatratna M S Subhalaxmi Amma 🌺🌷🌹💕🙏🙏
Most of the time I have observed the topic of discussion of the viewers turns for deciding the supremacy of a Language, their State or the greatness of our culture. Ignoring the very reality right in front of our eyes i.e., Amma, literally the Bharata Ratna. No doubt, Our Keertanas are great, they are lyrical, our languages are sweet, our Vaaggeyakaraas have no equals. But all said and done, Amma is a legend. She does not belong to anyone. She belongs to everyone. She is our legacy. She is our National Wealth. She is our National Property. These Keertanas are Centuries old. And thousands or lakhs or crores of people sang them over the years, similar or more numbers likely to sing in the days to come. But definitely, People like Amma seldom come. Let us enjoy our treasure, the Amma!!!
We are all certainly tooooo small to comment on big stalwarts in Carnatic music, especially MSS Amma for the clarity and ease that MSS Amma has created in carnatic music, divine and soulful singing. I always get tears or goosebumps when listening to Amma's music.
I think it is V.V. Subramaniam on the violin and T.K. Murthy on the mridangam. Thyagaraja and Dikshitar did compose a few keerthanams in very simple western tunes like Vara Lila gana lola and Sakthi sahita Ganapathim.
I bow my head to the lotus feet of great legend Smt.M.S.Amma.Her contribution to the music world is marvelous. Nowadays such a divine singing of musicians are quiet missing. Thank you for uploading.
She is the queen of Alapana, these kritis are very easy for MS.She makes them so easy for us.What a singer? To listen to her is a divine blessing itself.
devine ,devotional,a devotion envoking voice. her voice is so devine as mother saraswati. a blessing to hindu's carnatic music, and proudmaker of all hindus
Wow! What an invigorating song by MS Amma. Her voice becomes an instrument- like the violin- after a point. The swaram is the highlight. Love it in the ''third kalam''. Thanks for posting this song.
How much ever I accolade, that's always less anyway. But what I always tell my friends is that if any stalwart outside Science and literature has ever inspired me, that is She!
Some songs are eternal. And some singers are eternal too.. This is one such eternal song sung by an eternal singer. Thank you AMMA ❤️ You will forever be remembered 🙏🏻
Music can physically stimulate conscious or unconscious body movements, such as toe tapping or large body movements and improved gait and speech. Finally, music can bring people together socially, not just at large gatherings such as parties, weddings, or funerals, but in more informal, intimate shared experiences.
There can be no one else who can sing like MS Subbalakshmi - the one and only nightingale of the music world. I’m sure she is enthralling Sreeman Narayana in Vaikunta #NamoNarayana #MSAmmalIsPeerless
great! Most of the Carnatic music lyrics in Telugu, protected by Tamilians , calling it as Carnatic music (Karnatak?)..thanks to three language people.
Thank you very much for the beautiful composition of Satguru Sri Thyagaraja Swamigal Kriti "Raghuvamsa Sudha" sung by the Carnatic Musical Vocal Legendary exponent, vidhushi Dr.sow.M.S.Subbulakshmi ji with her beautiful style. Sri Ram, Jaya Ram, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Ram.

Ram Prasad One of the most popular compositions of Patnam Subramania Iyer- his mudra ( patent) is Venkatesha. This composition was done during the arrival of George 4 to India in late 1890's while the british army was composing a similar one, Iyer in his inimitable style composed with the likes of Western and Eastern tunes and hence it popular among insturmentalists.
divine song in a divine voice this song is a great mood lifter You will feel so energised after hearing this song - the magic of kadana kuthuhala raaga
