This depiction of Odin is so perfect. I love that he is a stark contrast to Thor, physically. Thor is huge and all about raw power, while Odin is all about words and deception. I love that they didn't make Odin look like a warrior or anything, because he isn't one. He actually never fights personally in the myths (well, aside from the killing of Ymir for the building of the world). But yet, he has even more commanding presence than Thor, he walks in states that "You know who i am", grabs chair for himself, and drinks the mead from the table. I also love that when Mimir says "if he tells you snow is white, he is lying" and Odin just dismisses it with "What kind of wisdom is that?". Mimir, who is really smart is still made to look like a fool with that line.

Odin: How about peace? Kratos: Yeah I’m with it *credits roll*

I can not believe it’s been a year since you posted this i’m rewatching it again because of the nostalgia, we miss you Cory 😢

Kratos's struggle to be a father is so heartwarming and endearing to see. Nothing can prepare you for raising a child, let alone as a single parent, but he does his best, and it really shows.

This is honestly, in my opinion, one of the best if not the best playthrough Cory has ever done. Please play Valhalla.

That last part was the most suspenseful thing i have seen in a video game in a while, i was literally shaking, frozen with anticipation and i even almost broke a sweat, cory was right, THAT is how you start a game T~T. P.S the fights scenes are gorgeous-

Love Cory's reaction to Odin's appearance. It's kinda ironic and makes sense because in the original mythology, Odin is more of a trickster god like Loki. He makes his enemies underestimate him with his silver tongue and somewhat frail appearance. But underneath all that is a viscous god.

Nah that’s Thor with Mjölnir in hand but what makes Odin so powerful is his ability to manipulate others to do his bidding whether they want to or even if they know they’re doing what he wants. He accomplishes all his manipulative schemes by using his silver tongue and what appears to be offers you can’t refuse. Whenever somebody wrongs him he doesn’t cut you down or blast you into oblivion he’d see how he could use you, get Heimdall to get information out of you and when he sees that you have no more uses to him, he’ll command Thor to bludgeon you out of existence

im just rewatching EVERYTHING.. Detroit become human was definitely the best series for me

I used to skip over the part where Fenrir died because i had not experienced the loss of a pet. But, once my dog died on Thanksgiving, I gained a whole lot more respect for both Atreus and the game itself. Now, when I rewatch this series, I never skip over that scene because it reminds me of my own dog.
