Yes its very hard to level up after 3rd job. You need at least grace equipment and a cheap paytowin head gear. they are usually around 50M, the head gear.

@@JuJu-xd4vu Doubtful that the game will shut down anytime soon. The game has been around for nearly a quarter of a century and is still quite popular worldwide. It's a pretty solid game with an amazing soundtrack and class customization for an MMO but it is EXTREMELY grindy so if your not the type of person who likes to just play a few hours a week to de-stress from life and relax you'll probably get pretty burnt out within a month. It's more of a "long haul" game where it's about the journey instead of the destination unlike WoW where it's a rush to get to the endgame and it's the most fun when you treat it as an adventure and just take your time exploring and building up levels while doing a few quests here and there. Your heavily rewarded for grinding and sometimes it's best to just "overlevel" until you one-shot enemies before you move on so you can farm currency and items to sell. I have a sage (wizard) around level 90 and a stalker (thief) level 75-ish and I've played off and on for years and I highly suggest the thief class for a first character due to their flee (dodge) mechanics as you'll reach a point where enemies will miss you over 90% of the time so you don't have to waste money on potions, wizards are a good starter class as well because spells are basically free to cast once your mp regeneration gets high enough. There are acolytes (healers) and swordsmen as well but healers are very niche unless you group up and swordmen are the most expensive class in the game because they are very gear-based. Basically, swordmen can end up being the strongest class in the game IF they are funded so I'd make one of them last after you are rich and then buy them really good gear from player shops. The magic system is a lot of fun as well, you can cast fire wall for instance which creates a barrier of flame and then cast spells behind it safely. Also, there are hybrid classes such as the monk (upgraded class from acolyte) that can deal good damage and heal to an extent and more gimmicky classes such as gunslinger and ninja and then you have crafter classes such as merchants that can focus on melee (blacksmith) or magic (chemist) with the former creating weapons and armor and the latter creating potions and those classes get extra money drops from monsters. So for instance you can make a merchant
I played ragnarok when it first came out but unfortunatly i didnt have money because on that days the game was not free to play , i played a lot on pirate servers but when i see your videos i want to come back again thank you for your videos
I remember stealing my dads credit card at 3am one night like 20 years ago when I was in middle school (I'm 34 years-old now) and using it to subscribe for liek 3 months and holy shit did my dad get PISSED!!! He owned a mechanic shop so all summer long I had to wake up at 7am when he did and he had me clean the shop and help out around the place for a month during my summer break. He didn't pay me for the first two weeks at all but he thanked me for working hard and earning his respect so he asked me if I wanted to work for another two weeks and he paid me $100 a week and he took me out to eat for lunch and it was a great bonding experience.
Enhancing new gear is indeed challenging nowadays, especially since they have Lvl 2 armor and Lvl 5 weapons. However, you can enhance them using the new refine system for etherores and craft with Etel dust. It's tedious for a F2P player, indeed. You mentioned as well that every week they add new content that's really more challenging. Since it's episode 18, your goal is to have a wolf gray amor, which you can farm from the wolf village. However, nothing beats the nebula in my opinon (constellation tower). Next to that is episode 19, Issgard for Snow Equipment, and Varmundt Bioshpere. Good luck on your journey, haha.
i downloaded and installed just the other day but it was impossible to create an account with warp portal so i deleted it again. let me know if there are other options cos i really love the mechanics and aesthetic of RO (the og one, the one we played back in highschool) hehe
@tyronec2358 There are a lot of philippines people playing iRO. I will ask them how they created an account. I think someone said Steam version. But steam version frame lags. You have to go to the Steam folder and then use the other launcher. It's the one that asks for a username and password.

Maybe i should stop playing iRO, been here for 2 weeks. I don't see any improvement on my gears, tedious dailies and gramps 70 to 100 is dead. Chaos server btw.
what level are you? eden group equipment is the best till 3rd job. you dont have to do gramps. its too hard with out pay to win item. I have a novice to 3rd job leveling guide. check it out, it might help. whats your character name?
I loved iRo cuz i had a lot of friends playing, but everyone got bored of the P2W gear and mechs even investing in some gear theres always new ones coming changing all cuz harder content
That nice you still have friends to play with. My friends quit and are now busy with work. I know ha, they release new items almost every two weeks. its hard to keep up.
End Game content is hard without these P2W gears and they are super hard to get even after paying with the loot box rates being very low for OP items. I got 1 of my char to 230+ but still end game content is hard to solo.
Ro right now is just power creep everywhere The downfall started when they introduced job skill boosted weapon and customable armor, it getting worsr when they implemented critical applied on skill
Biolo is easy to level, because of the pet. Geneticist cart cannon also has element cannon ball you can use for leveling. I personally dont have elemental master, so I dont know if they are good.

I played RO since 2003/4 in PH, I still remember duking it out with the guilds back then. I miss RO, but I'm afraid to try again (my experience goes up to 3rd jobs), and I'm interested in playing again!
If WarpPortal released the free Shadow Gear series that KRO players enjoy, the game would stop feeling Pay2Win and it would not be impossible to reach the 4th Job (without having to pay the ovrepriced Shadow Gears that no one can afford), which is what they announce as a novelty to attract new players.
I play on shinning moon ro when the 4th job is new the most op class is the 4th job of star glad even u have no equipment u can 1 hit the new mobs and can ez kill the bosses
I dont play anymore and i havent spend money on Ragnarok, but i love this game. Back then the story of LHZ was rly good. Done my own DnD system for this a my friends.

Hi Fuentesyt. I use Steam, and it's mostly instant. I'm not sure when it's done with warpportal. Also, once you buy from Steam, you have to make a warpportal ticket to purchase again.
I usually come back to Ro once a year since it is my absolute comfort game since closed Beta. May I ask from wich server this footage is from? I play on Ragnarok Prime atm and it kinda feels dead
