Another excellent tank review, Petty360. In the hands of great player, that tank completely dominates the same tier competition. I'd love to see a game where you are bottom tier. As you said, the 240 pen makes this tank competitive in those games. I had great games in with the Skoda T 34/1000, but I didn't pick up the Ragnarok. My garage is full of Tier VIII tanks that I don't play. After watching your games and seeing your enthusiasm, I might have to pick one up the next time it's on sale. That auto-loader looks like loads of fun.
If there's a premium tank worth buying it's this tank. It holds up well against tier 10's. Keep in mind you have no armor so avoid fighting the enemy face to face. This tank is made for flanking the enemy and attacking them from the side. Also, when I'm bottom tier I tend to focus more on tracking the enemy and getting tracking assists. It's all about combined damage (damage + assists) imo.
Without a doubt the Rags is my favorite Premium tank purchase. Such a fun tank to play, it's a beast (minus the armor), and it makes me the most silver. If anyone asks me which premium tank to buy, it would be the Ragnarok. And just think, I nearly passed up buying this tank too. Luckily i watched a someone's review (Clone Guy of all people) of this tank and they sold me on buying it.
I looked at the stats of it when they released it and thought omg that looks Awesome!! Didn't get phased by the tier 7 at tier 8 thing. Always Glad I Did!
@@Petty360 I about 5-6 months into the game when it first came, at that time I was getting butchered at Tier 8 and couldn't wait to get to Tier 10, because drumroll my dumbass was grinding the Chisel (Never got it past the High calibre requirement), so I thought Tier 8, pass. Hindsight is always 20/20 when I think about it. Now that I have the Chisel, Machine, Valour and few others that I have yet to take out for a spin, I am playing T29 and Cromwell to try and 3 mark them. Funny how things work out.
Just traded my King Tiger for it and I haven't even played it and already regret it. 26 second reload is awful. My teams last all of 2 minutes in tier 8 to 10 games, so I'll get off 2 clips before I'm yolo'd and dead.
