when all planets are situated in middle of Rahu and Ketu in birth-chart or horoscope, the astrologers call it Kalsarp Dosh. In present days, discussions about this dosh are vogue among Jyotishi or Hindu Astrologers of India. Many of troubles in one's life are mostly because of Kalsarp Dosh Without analyzing other areas of astrology, most astrologers, in fact, accept kalsarp dosh is main root of problems. But the reality is this that if all planets are well posited in horoscope, kalsarp dosh will not be harmful, and can be supportive to beneficial results endowed by good positions of planets. Yes you can use the moon sign if you don’t know your lagna.

if you look at predictions based on moon sign then the impact is felt at the emotional/mental level. based on the Ascendant sign the impact is at the physical level. Mostly people are interested in knowing what actual events are going to happen, those should be judged from Ascendant. as an example if the prediction is for travel, then judging by moon sign the person may only feel like traveling. but if it’s from the Ascendant sign, the person may actually travel. secondly if based on moon sign the prediction might apply to the mother of the individual.
