One on one interview with Rahul Dravid with the BBC's most famous show Face to Face hosted by, then "The Best Current Affairs Presenter" ,Karan Thapar.
many handsome faces will come and go in indian cricket but nobody will be as handsome as smart and charismatic all together except when you are Mr. Rahul Dravid.
I am watching this in 2020 , after 21 years of his interview.I am 24 now and still I am a fan of him and only cricketer i wanted to be like.A role model I can say .I still remember the matches those days that was a awesome time of my childhood🔥🙏
Some of the thoughts by dravid are life inspiring , he is not just a great cricketer, a great human being too. I feel proud witnessing dravidian era, feel lucky to have followed such a person's career very closely. Todays Indian cricketers need to watch this before they over react and act childish.
Dravid batted with Surgical precision and put a price on his wicket always. A strong technique, temperament, agility and assessing the situation is exceptional. He is a living legend and a Cricketer that youngsters can emulate.
Dravid made me watch all those pre match and post match shows with as much importance as the actual match, just to listen to him speak makes me so happy ❤️ he is more than just a cricketer, you can't help yourself from falling in love with his personality as much as his cricket ❤️
Dravid ka pura career ek seekh hai... Sirf Cricketers k liye hi nhi har insaan k liye jinko lgta hai stardom, aur humbleness ek insaan me sath nhi reh skti 🙏
@Crazy Hit A kid who tries to make himself relevant by commenting on every other comment 😂😂😂 Don't have anything to say to you. Your mums probably a prosT**** . And you are the result. I bet you don't even know your dad. That must be sad.
Much the same well mannered perfectionist when speaking as while batting. In school I learnt that besides enertainment anf physical excercise Sport helps one to build character. I understood this by following RD's cricket. RD is a role model not just for budding cricketers , Not just all the budding sportsperson RD is a role model for the entire youth !
Sachin Yuvraj Ganguly Shewag & Bhajji Ganged up in 2007 world cup and fought EGO war with Guru Greg, as a result team performed very badly under Dravid. Ego won/Ego Lost, India LOST. Dravid 'wept' that's one of the most unforgettable moment in cricket history to every Indian. Dravid, the best player, best captain and true gentleman cricketer.
It wasn't a ego war..Team was like a family under Ganguly's captaincy. Greg Chappel came and created differences and misunderstanding. Anyone will fight against this evil. I respect Dravid but Ganguly isn't wrong. He stood for what's right and fought against wrong even if it was a lone battle.
Why there is a assumption from people that the ones who delve themselves into cricket or any forms of sports is making a sacrifice by not enjoying movies etc...I couldn't become any kind of accomplished player...but I always had this great love for sports....At that time I remember...not sleeping entire night for school level matches....And to be honest I never missed anything in the world when got to play cricket or any sort of sports.......The thing is ones who didn't love sports how would they understand and such kinds questions are only expected.......
