Despondency is setting in Indians even if they are rich and can afford to spend. The Opposition narrative is calling the political shots and response, narrative today. In 2014, everyone was trying to counter BJP / Modi Narrative of Chai wallah to Gujrat Model. Look at 2024 election - BJP does not talk of its manifesto but of Congress and in Budget implements one their proposal. Employment / Inflation is now widely accepted by GOI and the same has flowed down to Indians - Yes India is in bad shape and economic inequality is rising. There is a proposal to include in Caste in much required and delayed Census. All this is making us believe and go by the opposition narrative. BJP is busy trying to school RG on how to dress / speak but at the same time accepts his issues / suggestions. It is akin to missing the forest for woods. Now look at utterances of Piyush G, on prompt of Chandni Chowk MP Khandelwal and next day retracting. He had done something similar few years back. This is the maturity a senior minister. So calculate that and u can see the difference. Also, I don't rely these surveys. But the are always more favourable to BJP and they are also telling the same story. However, People can change everything. However BJP is so fearful that they didn't hold elections in Maharashtra. So all combined, I think my assessment is realistic. Jharkhand is a battleground, most probably.
