A short piece for Vibraphone and 5-octave Marimba dedicated to The KöNG Duo. The scaler formation is derived from two common ragas used in Hindustani and Carnatic practices: Raga Todi (Shubhapantuvarali) and Raga Marwa/Marva (Gamanasrama). In Indian Art Music, Raga Todi is meant to be played in the early morning (still night), while Raga Marwa is played in the late evening (sunset). The formal structure of the piece is in Ternary Form (ABA1), with Todi symbolizing A and Marwa symbolizing B before returning to A, completing a daily cycle.
