The Free City of Sintranos was once a thriving nexus of commerce - the Jewel of the South that outshone its sister city of Delanos. Now, it is slowly dying, still bleeding from grievous wounds inflicted by the devastating Gaellen War. Its current, tragic ruler clings to the hope that they can undo the damage they caused to the city and usher in a prosperous new dawn, but all is in vain. For a creature far more ancient and sinister than the forces of the Gaellen Pact really pulls the strings in Sintranos.

You ever hear tragedy, the fall of Raid which fell to shadow, for it was once a legend But now nothing more than a crumble on peoples shoulders They say their keepers (Plarium) were too vast, too ignorant and most of all too greedy Their hunger for power had no end Therein lies their down fall For behind their great works lied an even worse fate The one’s who had total control over all of them They said Arstocrat could minipulate plariums power to influence the people to do thy bidding so they may have even more power. It was a sad tale indeed Well in the dark times of Covid, structural collapse and economic downfall

same here. it's not a competition you can really win; so just set goals for yourself and be happy when you can achieve them. some people have a need to brag about the size of their e-peen but not me. you could spend a fortune and still not be the biggest,baddest player out there. /waits for the flames

Exaclty. Ive been playing since release. Me and my wife. My account is stacked. Probably spent a total of about 300 per year. I like the game. Love what they do. Those raid passes are the biggest bang for their buck. But game is double free. So many accessible leggos. People don't know how to save their resources and go for specific goals.

I'm sitting on a massive pile of legos and Siegfrund, and have done everything but the most terrible stuff like sand devil, and I'm not one of the ones putting in tens of thousands on it. Ridiculous that so many assume it's only PTW.

@@Hobodeluxe960 I'm FTP, actually, as I've seen too many people spend hundreds at a time with little to no benefit. I've technically been around since late 2019, but wasn't active until 2020. Power level varies widely because I use different things and switch them around for various reasons, and the power numbers are mostly irrelevant anyway. Ranging anywhere from 40-80k is common on individual champs whose true effectiveness has no connection to these numbers, with the only reliable one being total player power. That at least usually reflects a general effectiveness level for how many parts of the game one can do well in. My most used arena team is about 300k, almost all of which is my damage because critical damage counts as a lot of power.

New content could be good but making improvements that would better benefit your players would be even better. Plenty of “legendary “ champions that desperately need buffing, ways to earn missing fragments from past champion events, updating of token trader champs, etc,etc,etc. Fix what’s broken first!

at they VERY least, footnote/delete the unfinished champs and the ones at 0/100 frags (already gotten/unattempted). I hate staring at a list of all time with SOOOO MANY fragment events cluttered in a giant line.

The point is to try and make you a spendaholic. Give you just enough to keep you coming back for more like a strung out junkie. They don't really care about the state of the game or their player base whatsoever. Its all about them Benjamin's. Greed can take something beautiful/creative and turn it into a grotesque monster... That's Raid for ya. The developers have a disease and it's called greed.

I love the game but you want us players to pay for so many of the upgrades. Playing for hours and hours only gets you so far. The greed that all the gaming company's have is a shame. Upgrades of even $150.00 dollars don't go very far I know as I have spent it. A person works so long to aquire that kind of clear money. I will most likely have to quit playing as I could see myself spending $1000s just to get anywhere. I do love the game though.

Plarium has slipped into a fraudulent game where donut rules. No money, no game. And this city is another masterpiece from Plarium in pumping out resources, nothing more. Like gamblers, all their cards are marked, no matter what you do, you lose

I understand a game needs to bring in revenue to stay afloat but give the people a break. Drop prices on in-game items, raise drop rates on shards, give better rewards that are achievable for tourneys and other events with more time invested instead of more money invested and i can guarantee that will generate even more players and more revenue will follow. I think epics need to be a 20% chance, legs need to be a 10% chance and mythical need to be a 5% chance. Not 8%, 1%, 0.5%... They do these extremely low drop rates in hopes of more micro transactions as you have a better chance when you pop 10 at a time instead of a few, but in all reality, people are more likely to spend money if they know their odds of getting better champs are far more reasonable than the current odds are now. I know i could bring this game on the up and up if i were in charge of the finacial dynamics, but hey, who am I? I'm just a lifelong gamer and customer with a lot of experience in what the gamer world desires...

I agree with this. I work in Financial Services and juggle statistics and money related maths daily. If the customers were given better odds as explained above, overall revenue would increase because the customer data base would increase as well as existing players playing more. Why don't companies understand this simple principle? Usually they need/want more money so prices increase and this drives existing customers away and prevents new customers arriving. It happens with transport a lot like train fares, bus fares and so forth, resturants, hotels and everywhere. Customers know a good deal and also know when being ripped of so take their money elsewhere. Given better odds as explained above, overall revenue would increase because the customer data base would increase as well as existing players playing more. Why don't companies understand this principle?

Laughing at myself that here I am 45 and obsessed with this mobile video game and watching these Saturday morning cartoon Trailers. Cursed City is a perfect example of our secular world, because society is not ran by God but certainly the Devil and Archons. Shoot’s never showed have played the gameboy when I was a kid. I have an opinion that I hope someone that matters will read. I like this game. A lot. It’s literally the only game I play. I hate the fact that if you don’t spend money, the game isn’t very fun. At all. I hate that every time I have to go to the Bastion, I have 2 pop ups that I have to close and most times, I have to close the pop up and then confirm the fact that I want to close it. Wtf is that all about? I’ve been playing Raid daily for over a year and the only legendary champs I have are the 5 free champions ( Ronda, Artak, sun wukhong skyle and visix). Ive really been thinking about deleting the game. I hope this new content changes my mind.

Most things entirely for free are not much fun. You get what you pay for. Though in Raid, at least none of the content (so far) is pay-walled, just the speed of your progress mostly.

Your energy refills over time. You want free energy, do the dailies and events that give it and then sit AFK for it to refill when those are gone. I get that the reason people say they feel like they have to pay is because the energy pool caps pretty low for the amount of energy needed to run newer content. But it's still free.

Great video, and really got me hyped for Sintranos… lore wise. I’m sorry to say this, but this content is going to flop for endgame players if you don’t add a brutal difficulty. I, a lategame player, can easily beat DT Hard and has a Seer team to most likely destroy this piece of content. I’m probably still gonna find it fun, but not really a challenge I have to build champs for. So please, just add a higher difficulty made for us late-endgame players.

You completely fucked up the Tormin event. It was accessible for about 5 days, then you dropped that Champ Chase and the Winter Path. You got greedy and blew it with those event prize points. It's worse than a fusion now. Completely unreachable without whaling.

I started to do the Tormin event. It’s too much. You value Xena at $40 but I have to buy hundreds of dollars in shards and energy to get a 3 year old legendary champion. This event is horrible. Can’t believe I came back for this only be disappointed yet again. Shame on me for expecting your game to be good for once

Listen to 1:02 closely, plariums acknowledging the issues and is saying theyre gonna fix it. The voice is talking about making things better and making them right, and then says "for he knows, without me, he is nothing" referring to plarium being nothing without the player base.
