Great breakdown of the different features of this belt. Looks nothing like any options I've seen on the market so far, will check it out on the website! Happy to see Raide innovating in other sports.
Looks like a great product! I'm 'team belt' all the way, but haven't been able to find something that carries everything I need. Curious if the LF 2L could hold a packable rain jacket as well as the 650ml flask in the back pocket? I'll be running a race that requires some gear to carried while on the course and would love to wear a belt if it can carry all the goods I need (rain jacket, gloves, water & nutrition).
Hi, thanks for the question. It definitely fits a packable rain jacket in addition to the bottle. I think the LF 2L should solve the problems you have had with other belts!
I do a lot of high volume trail running in the Wastach, and am looking to replace my Naked belt I've used for the last few years. I was able to use it for a 100k this summer without needing a vest, but it's gone through roughly ~6k miles now and is showing some wear- I'm looking for something that can hopefully replace it. Thanks for the video, it definitely looks like a great product. Tempted to check it out, but also somewhat nervous about how it performs breathability wise? How is durability with weekly rinses? Anyone that has one that can chime in would be greatly appreciated!
Hey thanks for the questions. Breathability is not as good as the Naked belt, due to it being more structured and having less bounce, so it depends if you want to sacrifice a bit of breathability for more stability and no bounce. It does do well with weekly rinses. If you are in the wasatch you can check out the belt in person at Skimo/Skyrun.
This looks absolutely fantastic!!! Do you think 2x 500ml flasks on top of each other in the back and maybe another one in front would work as great? Front would probably bounce but that's sometimes better than no water :) I've like 10+ Salomon flasks... ready for use! If I order in Germany, is this shipping from EU warehouse? Price is a bit steep, 2.5x Naked belt, so I'd want to avoid problematic returns. Cheers!
You can definitely fit 2x500mL flasks in the back. The belt comes with a 650mL flask and you can even fit 2 of those in back if that are about 90% full. We only have a warehouse in the US right now, but the shipping to most of Europe is reasonable. The belt will last a lot longer than other belts on the market. Let us know if you have any more questions.
@@raideresearch Thank you for the reply!!! If it's shipping from US it means the price is even higher(import tax, shipping, expensive return) so it would be 3 or 4 times pricier than other belts on the market. I guess I'll have to wait then. Regarding durability, my naked belt is already over 4 years with thousands of kilometers on it without sign of giving up so it's not a huge factor.
@@_arathunku No problem! Hopefully we will get a warehouse in the EU before next summer to bring the cost down for European customers. It is definitely a priority for us.
Ugh, this is so frustrating. This can replace all my running bags (waist and pack type) but it is not like I can justify the purchase by selling those it replaces as one would with something like Guitars, or Handmade bicycle frames etc. Nobody wants my stinky used gear :( … well Saving saving saving I guess
