The full audio of the Q&A session with Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford at the LA Times Hero Complex 30th Anniversary screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark on 9/12/11.
Thanks for uploading this in whole. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Obviously, had you also included video, it would've been even better, but this is great.
I really wish I could attend these q and a as an aspiring filmmaker I would ask directing advice from Spielberg but would ask character related questions to Ford
I still remember the day in 2002 I got online and saw the awesome news that Spielberg was having Universal include both versions of E.T. in the low priced DVD instead of only making the 1982 version available in a $60 set. It happened so soon to the release that it wasn't printed on the package and only put on a sticker on the plastic wrap.
Not only that, but some of the extras that were on the 2nd disc of the 2 Disc version either had to be re-edited, moved to the first disc and dropped entirely to make room for the 1982 version,
@amaxamon TinTin wasn't one big special effect though. Everything was rendered CGI, yes, but it was for stylistic purposes. It had a decent plot, few action set pieces, and good characters. Movies featuring nothing but a big long drawn out special effect, unnecessary filler, than another big special effect would be the (unfortunately Spielberg produced) Transformer flicks. Ford's comment was about mixing live human actors with CGI monsters, which does take humanity out of the picture.
Can someone please turn Ford up? I have the audio on my PC all the way up, I then have to turn it down when the other people talk. Jesus Harrison, I realise you're not a stage actor, but could you just once project your voice when you're not in character, please.
