O’Connell has only been in the league for one and a quarter seasons. He still is lost when he tries to read the defenses and he doesn’t push the ball to move the chains. The Raiders be screwed if he starts. Minshew better be the starting QB this season. Or the Raiders should trade for Russell Wilson.

idk about a superstar. I like the kid and he has heart, but I also want to be realistic. And yes our squad as a whole this year is better than the niners were last year. That doesn't mean we are as in sync as they were or will perform the way they did, but I think we have much more talent. They just need to develop together under the same leadership for more than a season or 2 and I think we have something special. I am excited about AP. He may not be an x's and o's kind of guy but he is a leader of men. I saw the spark last year when he took the reins. Those boys would run thru a wall for AP and I think that means more than being an offensive guru or a defensive genius. That's what coordinators are for.

Exactly his weapons were all hurt and he not only lead them to a very respectable record but also beat our defense late in the year in a good game. AP and the Raiders have a difficult choice to make this season. Could literally be the difference between being a playoff team or being a team that needs to find themselves on offense

With this much dissension regarding quarterbacks to start this season, this team's got problems. Be lucky to go 10-7 early exit from the playoffs. PLAYOFFS! Don't even talk about the playoffs. We're just trying to win a game here. Whether your high school or Junior college or college or pros, you're not going anywhere without a quarterback. This offense has weapons but the defense has proven that it can dominate looking at the last half of last season. Rn I’m not too worried about the offense being behind. Questionable QB room, new OC, vs a defense that has elite potential playing in the same system for around 3 seasons. More continuity there so I’d expect them to be the dominant unit in practice early on.

Idk brotha we need to build on this new regime with these new coach’s coming in. When we played the Dolphins and the Vikings we looked foolish out there on both offense and defense we did a lot better with AP but hopefully this draft class proves themselves and bring some explosiveness or competitive attitude to make us better and make everyone adopt the philosophy AP and Maxx are trying to teach this once great franchise. Hopefully telesco and AP continue to draft well and add pieces we need to maintain some sort of real success 🏴‍☠️💪🤝

Another thing is I hope we resign Patrick Graham I believe he is a big factor in our defensive success along with AP just wish we woulda got a better OC like Kingsbury before he backed out but I understand the thought the Raiders have building this team. Overall having this defense looking very promising doesn’t make us a top heavy team like the teams we’ve had for the past 15-20 so years. We’ve had some great offenses but when you get so many penalties and points given up on defense that is not an ideal situation to put the game on the line with every offensive drive we have. There was times where our offense couldn’t score in the beginning and couldn’t find rhythm so basically just ended in disappointing losses.

We can't see who is learning the playbook the best. They give us snippets not plays enough drills. We have no baseline. All we have are mechanics. Based upon that, O'Connell looks the best. Who do we have to give a barometer reading on who is doing best there? Certainly not Adams, right? Maybe it's best to compare who Getsey coached to who we have. We don't have a ridiculous talented arm like Rodgers. Let's compare our QB's to Love. Do we have anyone better than him? Love is not a good QB, he's a game manager at best. I think it's way more complex than Pierce thinks. You can learn the playbook all you want. There are other factors though. Who are the players connecting to? Jeff George had one of the best QB arms the Raiders ever day. He did not connect. The players, especially the OL has to want to die for you. They have to respect you, trust you etc. Who is that?

The best thing that the Raiders picked up this year is Telesco. He really knows talent and he knows how to build a good team. I’m getting the feeling the Raiders will be better this year than I thought they would be. I don’t know about playoffs; will have to see about that, but I think they are going to surprise some people. And I think AOC is going to be a very good quarterback, especially if they put somebody in front of them at left tackle.. It bothers me that we’re not hearing anything about that.

Its the spin you put on certain things. You spun Adams' "we'll see" comment as him having doubt in the offense. You spun Minshew's contract into it being too much and if he doesn't start it will make Talesco look like a dumbass. We might get absolutely wrecked this season. Not hyped at all on our ability to move the ball and will our defense be a sieve like it always is?? It was semi-decent down the stretch last year against some of the worst QBs this league has ever known so don't @ me like we have a squad. Literally a high school defense could've beat Easton Stick, Let's Ride Russ and the milf hunter himself Mr. Zach Wilson. Meanwhile if Bo Nix and Harbaugh do what they need to we very well could be bottom of the division, wasted one of the potentially 2-3 years AP gets as HC, and we'll see the Chiefs march to their 3rd straight. Thats the reality we are facing Raider nation.

This is the reality when you have two QB2 and no QB1 talent on the roster. AOC and “ Lil-azz-Boy” Minshew ain’t it…gonna kill us all season and we will finish 8-9 (at best) and no playoffs.
