The best thing about this was literally Laith switching between vanilla and his graphics mod to satisfy his road addiction. Really getting into the Romaboo spirit there. Sadly he didnt get the "gladiatorial fight" event where he pits the pope as a gladiator, and the rest of the ministers. Rip Stable Robert, we will miss you. What? Are you trolling or are you serious? He literally just did a part 2 for the Theodoro Campaign and has done second and even third parts multiple times in the past, for example with his 3-4 parts of his irish exiles campaign.

About raiding Ireland. There is a large ocean tile which is longer way to Ireland if time is considered but for the case of simple tile counting it's 3 steps from Gibraltar to Ireland.

What was causing the reforms to not show up? I’ve been getting that in a few mods with no graphics mods running.

In 1.37.2, Paradox completely removed has_unlocked_government_reform_tooltip trigger from the game which broke tens if not hundreds of government reforms. It was hotfixed almost immediately for Ante Bellum, but I guess Laith played on a version before the hotfix.
