Jim, I used Sem trim black on my E46 sedans rear trim and diffuser and it looks perfect but it doesn't have a tough finish. I recommend using Krylon Matte Finish clear for an easily wipable and semi chemical resistant finish that still has that OEM+ look.
The a/c in that thing is sooooo not bad 👌 some factory a/c lines are so big bulky and ran all around and on top of things. Like you said at least it's all fresh now and contained to one side tucked nicely all together and doesn't look bad at all and it's so worth having it

I've got a SR NeoVVL valve cover right up the road from you. It used to be one one of the many SR's that live in Mark Merliss' Smurf. It's an original valve cover though, not the 20v style. But it's got heritage.

Small concern, but since SEM Trim Black is more of a rubberized thicker coating, I worry it will decrease the AC condenser efficiency. Doubt it will be an issue, but if the AC isn't up to snuff I'd point to that. It does look good in black though. Great work! The car is looking phenomenal.
Nah I've watched every single Tommy video about that Dry Ice machine but he's always already working on clean cars (cause Tommy) this was a real eye opener on the technology. (there was also Will's N54 Engine but like that shit needed prep before it got hit by anything)
run twin side mounts in front of each fended well. if not that, you could run an air-to-water but then have to deal with a reservoir and heat exchanger

Dunno if anyones mentioned it but that “evaporator” as actually a receiver drier… it’s job is to trap any moisture that shouldn’t be but might be in the ac system. They’re supposed to be replaced by time or if the ac system is open to atmosphere for more than a few hours.
You need to replace the AC Dryer, they have very brittle paper inside and once the system is discharged and they sit open it dries out and won't work properly
Yo Jimmy, you should probably replace that receiver drier anyway since it's been open to atmosphere for so long. Should be the last thing you put in the system just before pulling vacuum.

Make sure you get retainer clips for the fuel injectors on the LS or you could have a fire when drifting. Check "Collette Davis's" channel and what happened to her corvette drift car.
