Hello and Welcome to B&LE 902! In this video, we spend a February day in Buffalo, New York as we partake in Buffalo and Pittsburgh/South Buffalo Railway action around Buffalo Creek Yard and a chase of the Buffalo Southern Railroad. B&LE SD38AC #867 is featured in the Buffalo & Pittsburgh segment as it is shuffled around the yard. The locomotive was in the process of being moved from CN's Bessemer Sub to Kirk, Indiana. Props to you B&LE I know what the cold of winter is like out that way and the snow! I never really thought there was that much short line action in Buffalo. Though I never have hung around long enough to find out. Maybe I will have to stop and check it out some time. Thanks for sharing!

Those "Flying Switch" moves can be tricky sometimes. Balance of speed and timing. Cold bearings nixed that one. As always a nice video. Be safe out there.

Regarding the BSOR: Now picture SD-45's, any of the EL variants, GP-35's, U25B's, F units, Alco 424's and 425's running down the B&SW in the early 70's!

The out of service drawbridge at CP Draw that's welded in the up position has been a notable landmark in the South Buffalo area. It can be spotted from several places

what business are they servicing in Eden i wonder? Why not use small switcher for single car? Attica Arcade used a pretty small locomotive to pull multiple grain cars to feed mill in Sheldon.

Good video! if your up by the BPRR again you sometimes may see BF-1, it usually runs Tuesdays or Thursdays and goes to Arcade!

@@CSX_Doolittle Yes, 900, 902, 903, and 908 have been repainted. Though it’s sad, I’m just glad they’re keeping these locomotives running and not in the deadlines.
