Trains and police cars, they pretty much consume my life at the moment. It's safe to say that life has been pretty busy. Take note that I made the first clip over 5 months ago for a video like this, and only now am I finishing it. Truth be told, although I love taking video and getting that perfect shot, finding time and will power to make videos has been tough. I've not stopped railfanning, and many of my better catches have been late 2017, only shot on photos and not through video. The future is uncertain. I can guarantee one more video relating to a trip out west, but can not say when that will take place. Furthermore, I graduate this year, and specific career choices give me a reason to limit publicizing my railroad videos. I appreciate everyone's concern for the channel, and I wanted to make something to put around 1TB of media to use somehow. All for now, until next time...

Hey, nice channel! With your return to RU-vid, highly suggest, if your in the Toledo Area again, they've redone Vicker's Junction allowing for a better location to railfan. I've just recently been down their myself.

I missed seeing your videos Spencer and hope to see you around sometime while railfanning. Im getting a better job and hopefully some better recording equipment. Also currently in the market for a retired crown vic because I just love them. Cool cars. As a matter of fact I think I saw your car and a blue one parked at a Wendy's on Navarre Ave. in Oregon last fall. Sweet car and great videos man. Keep up the great work!

What is your attraction 'old' Ford Crown Victoria, Interceptors? Yes, I'm aware, that most police agencies in Ohio, Michigan, and in Indiana, used them as their mainstay Patrol Cruiser Squad Cars, but was ten or more years ago. In fact, the Indiana State Police, still has quite a number of them in regular use. And it is because, when they had purchased the last batch of these vehicles, they had ordered so many, they were parked on the parking lot of the ISP motor pool facility on the East side of Indianapolis, just South of I-70 and Post Road, for up to almost three years, before many were commisioned for service. In that time frame, the tires deteriorated, to such a degree, that all four in contact with the pavement, had to be replaced, and there was no actual mileage on those tires. The City Of Fort Wayne, used them as well, but they proved to be a little too light in the ass, for gripping the roads, especially during inclement weather; I.E., snow and ice. With having a GM truck producing plant on the Southwest part of Allen County, The City Of Fort Wayne, decided on Chevrolet Impalas for replacements. It was just good business, and GM kept the price per unit the same 4 or 5 years running.They're smaller and can fit down back alleyways, without tearing up the front fenders. Yeah, they were only V6s and not V8s, but Freeway highspeed pursuits, well, let us just state, was left for the ISP, and the Allen County Sheriff's Police. They have Hemi-V8s in Dodge Chargers.

The CV is iconic. Sure, it has problems, and by no means is the perfect car, but you cant disagree with a reliable drive train, comfortable driving and an extremely versatile platform. Too light to grip roads? Learn how to drive. Any RWD V8 will be a handful in the correct situation. I drove mine on BALD tires in 6in of snow with no complaints given the situation. Furthermore, if (or when rather being its nearing 180 thousand rough miles) something breaks, there is no shortage of parts neither are many tasks difficult to do yourself with even a small background in mechanics. I will never say its the best car ever made. The Ford Explorer is the new crown vic, and for good reason, they rock. But for the money, and the iconic look and heritage, you cant go wrong.
