I'm still uploading railfanning videos from this summer. You know how things go... I will have more layout updates soon; I've just been super busy. Enjoy! -Cam
Beautiful clear picture looks as if you may have been using 4K camera. When I worked at Grand Canyon I often spent time off watching trains in this area. I know the low level shots make the trains looks very impressive. However, if you'd mix in a few higher angle shots they bring the scenery into view. A higher angle at Maine facing east, for example, with a short telephoto would have shown off the train with Humphrey's Peak above Flagstaff as a backdrop. But all in all excellent photography.
Thanks! Since you asked, I realized that I accidentally edited out the rear end of the second train. That stacker had 2 DPUs on the rear. We also caught a big WB grain train which runs in a 4x2 configuration until Gallup, NM. At the yard in Gallup, they put 3 mid-train DPUs on to make it 4x3x2 the rest of the way. Unfortunately, we caught it at Flagstaff at night, so the video wasn't good. -Cam
